National Football Team sets eyes on next target in World Cup Qualifiers

The Men’s Senior National team has shifted gears as they continue in their quest to end their world cup qualification Campaign on high.

Dominica secured its first 3 points in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers with a comfortable 3-nil win over Anguilla, at the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez in the Dominica Republic on Wednesday.

With the victory, Dominica has moved into 3rd place in the Group Standings with 3 points.

The Nature Island boys will now face Barbados on June 8th with a chance to lock up a 3rd place finish in the group.

On Thursday the team engaged in some recovery drills following Wednesday’s victory.

Dominica has been placed in Group D of the Concacaf Qualifiers alongside Panama, The Dominican Republic, Barbados, and Anguilla.
