I remember once in maybe 2013/2014 i had suggested to 2 investment consultants who came here to help the government develop niche areas for investments, that we need to look into more offshore universities as we could simply not put all our eggs in one basket where Ross was concerned, in addition to other call center in the case of Clear Harbor.
The consultants said that is not an area of interest, and that Ross had adequately satisfied Dominica. they even said that although All Saints Univ. wasnt as big, because of the size of the country the 2 are more than suffice. I stayed quiet after that. Long story sort, we need to look at areas for offshore universities, like veterinary, bio marine and agriculture. So thanks to St. Nicholas for recognizing our needs and having a positive impact on our economy.
