A commercial airplane carrying at least 121 people crashed Friday in Rawalpindi just before it was to land at an airport in Islamabad, according to Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority, which cited poor weather as a possible factor.

The Bhoja Air Boeing 737 was making its first flight from Karachi to Islamabad, where the weather was cloudy, authority spokesman Pervaz George told CNN. Officials initially reported that 131 people were on board, but George later reduced that number.

There were no survivors, George said.

DEATH MEETS YOU EVERY AND ANY WHERE ;WHETHER YOU TRAVEL OR NOT.WHETHER YOU ARE READY TO DIE OR NOT IT COMES AROUND. ….

  4. April 21, 2012

Death! The most tragic aspect of human existence in this world. Each time I read of this tragic situation, I am prompted to write so bear with me, my people.

In the firs place, I sympathize with the families, other relatives and close friends of those people who died in that plane crash–O dear God of mercy and compassion!

However when these things happen it is time for those of us who remain alive to ask ourselves many questions and to answer them.

This is not the time to apply fleshly fear– the emotions that causes us to say “I am scared to travel”–it is the time to rebuke this emotion in our minds; for fleshly fear is the sword which Satan hands to us, on our route to the self destruction which he planned for us–if we will allow him to do so.

What we need to do is to come awake from our sleep of night and darkness that we might walk in the Light–there is no Life in darkness for the darnkess is barren state–meaning unproductive.

Too many of us have taken advantage of God’s Love towards us–at a certain time He simply allow us to sleep ourselves to both spiritual and physical death.

In the beginning God said “let there be Light”, and this is Life that He wants us to live, through Holy Spirit, who indwells us–who is the Influence or the Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.

When we are focused in the Light we are secured through spiritual guidance and protection–the Living Hope from our God of Life–God does not disappoint our hope in Him.

Not at all! God does not want His chosen people to die– especially not by this kind of tragic death like an unforeseen plane crash.

We are destroyed eventually, when we turn away from God’s guidance and protection, doing things at our own strength, human wisdom, and philosophy, and keeping the honors and the merits for ourselves.

Jesus has promised us “I am with you always!” How many of us take heed of those words of Truth and to give Him thanks and gratitude for loving us so much, first thing in the morningm all day long, and the last thing at night–before we settle down for night of physical sleep?

A mass number of people in this world do not know Jesus, and yet still many who have heard of Him do not accept Him and the Life of Love, which He is so willing to give to them.

So please, wake up from your sleep of night and darkness my people of Dominica, that you might walk in the Light. In your awakened mind you will constantly think and believe that Life is forever because you walk by the Light of Jesus Christ–I assure that it is so, for as long as you continue to believe. Mark my word!

I heard about this sad news today in T.O. I prayed an eternal rest for the victims and hoped God had mercy on their souls.
We know the saying, what is there to happen will always happen. Considering the number of plane crashes, this will make some people fear traveling by air.
It is no easy matter being up in the air and wondering if we will arrive safely. The best thing to do is pray. This is what I do specifically when I am traveling by air.
Accidents, fire, freak accidents and guns take many lives throughout the world annually.
Daily, we as Christians should never fail to pray to God and ask Him for His protection. No need to fear if we know that God is in control and He holds the key to life and death and leave everything to him. Consider that in any part of the world we reside we are all in it and that it is a concern when we are traveling especially by air. Hope this will be a source of consolation for those who fear traveling.
My sympathy and prayers go out to the victims’ families who are mourning the loss of their loved ones. It is no easy time for them.
We are the world and we are the people of the world, all brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ with no exception. We are obligated to wish everyone the best and rejoice with those who rejoice and weep/mourn with those who do. God’s blessing and peace. He loves everyone with no exception.
