A National Youth Council in any country is a good thing. The voices and aspirations of the young people should be prioritised since the youths are the future of the country.
Having said that, sad to say, this endeavour in Dominica is rendered almost impractical due to hyper-partisan political interference.
What real meaningful impact has the outgoing executive of the Youth Council had on the young people of this country during their tenure? Most of these members are like trial balloons for the posterity of the corrupt Labour Party regime.
They are all loyal followers of the CM. Their only aim to eventually get a decent slice of Skerrit corrupt cake. Greed is going to kill our country.
