Parliament will convene for the Seventh Meeting of the First Session of the Eleventh Parliament on Thursday, 14th December, 2023 at 10: 00 a.m. at the House of Assembly.
At this meeting, Minister for Finance, Economic Development, Climate Resilience and Social Security, Hon. Dr. Irving McIntyre will seek House approval of Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year ending 30th June, 2023.
Minister for Health and Social Services, Hon. Cassanni Laville will table a motion for the introduction of a Bill for an Act to amend the Children Care and Adoption Act no. 12 of 2023, one of five family bills adopted by the House earlier this year.
Additionally, three bills to give effect to measures announced in the 2023/24 National Budget will be tabled for approval, namely, the Stamp Act, Income Tax Act and the Cooperatives Societies Act.
The proceedings will be broadcast live via the Government Information Service and the Dominica Broadcasting Station (DBS).

In a real country both Skerrit and Blackmore would be arrested as soon as they enter parliament so that they could help the people to honestly investigate the Soufriere double murder trial since one of the alleged murderers was a known CBI passport dealer. But it was Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit himself that told us that the Dominica he’s been leading for almost 20 yrs is NOT a damn real country.
The same can be said of the UWP scums. Ugly-head Linton, military-head Fontaine, pretty-face Monelle, uneducated-Jasma, emaciated-Douglas, cannot-spell Francisco Telemakak, election day-loser Ibo France. And here you have it.

The conduct of those members on the government side of the aisle in the House, is tantamount to that of drunkards and hoodlums.
Examine the caliber of persons like thick-skulled Melissa and foul-mouthed Levi Peter in this august body. It changes this once revered institution to a dilapidated rum shop situated in a remote, god-forsaken location of an impoverished country.
You cannot bake a tasty cake using rotten eggs. From these MPs raucous, combative, cantankerous behaviour, they conduct themselves like drunks at a rowdy, spectator sport.
