PM issues stern warning against inflammatory remarks

Skerrit

The Dominica government has issued a stern warning against inflammatory remarks on the airwaves.

Fresh from his dual citizenship court election victory, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has indicated that such rhetoric will now come under greater scrutiny from the authorities, who intend to take action on that matter.

“I feel duty bound to call this country to order this evening,” the prime minister told a victory rally in the capital Roseau on Tuesday evening, following a court dismissal of election petitions against him and Education Minister Peter St Jean.

“Enough is enough, these constant attacks against the good name of Dominica at home and abroad must stop,” PM Skerrit said, objecting to what he described as inciting language that was being used by a “handful of malcontents” to stir up mischief and a campaign of disobedience in Dominica.

“This will no longer be tolerated,” the prime minister told his Labour Party supporters.

Saying he intended to do something about this, PM Skerrit said: “We can no longer tolerate inflammatory speech intended to incite violence under the guise of free speech in this country.  Nor can we accept the systematic campaign to destroy our country’s name with vicious and calculated lies,” he warned without elaborating on how that perceived problem would be dealt with.

What’s seen as anti-Skerrit programmes on one privately-owned radio station – Q95, and allegations from some activists in Dominica and the United States who accuse the prime minister and his government of corrupt practices, are among the areas of concern for the Skerrit-led governing Dominica Labour party.

Wearing his DLP political hat, Roosevelt Skerrit urged the activists here and abroad critical of his administration to take the bold step of running for political office.

He made reference to talk show host Lennox Linton’s recent announcement that he would contest the next general election as a welcome development, although PM Skerrit did not mention Linton by name, referring to him as “one of the protagonists who hid for years behind the cloak of journalism”.

Meanwhile Linton had an initial comment about the government’s proposed new tough stand against so-called inflammatory remarks on the airwaves.

He said of the prime minister’s warning: “What is he gonna do, jail them, execute them?”

Speaking to Q95’s Matt in the Morning, Linton said, “people are speaking to issues that concern the civility of Dominica, the rule of law”.

His statement on that is a clear indication that he’ll continue to speak out on what he perceives are the ills being perpetrated by a government he is extremely critical of.

The best thing you can do and also for yourself that will also contribute to peace is to have respect for your Leader, the Prime Minister of Dominica.

Why the poor people who support you are so poor? Do you think of how to get them gainfully employed.

      January 12, 2012

      @ GOM

If you reside in Dominica, you could do something for them and assist them to obtain gainful and stable employment. The problem with some people is they expect the government to do everything for them. They appear not to be aware that they also have to help themselves, help their government, their country and their nationals.
Many of you have heard the wise words of the late President Kennedy which will always be repeated: “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.”
You are one of those who should use it as an example and act accordingly.

    January 12, 2012

I would first like to single out a commentator below for his comment that Dominica is the POOREST country in the Caribbean, when in fact Dominica is NOT the poorest or one of the poorest countries in the Caribbean. There are different definitions and/or methods to go about measuring the success or poverty of a country, ie the economy. The most popular one is GDP. According to the latest statistics from the International Monetary Fund, Dominica does rank last (before St. Kitts) if you were to measure it in terms of GDP, price purchasing power.

I would like to draw your attention to how GDP (price purchasing power) distorts the economic readout in the measurement of economies. Price Purchasing Power assumes a single basket measurement for the consumption of one type good/s across the board. Distortions will result when gathering data for housing starts, inter-differences in comestible consumption, whether imported or home grown, and manufacturing stats.

That being said, I acknowledge that Dominica has no such manufacturing base and that this weighs heavily in the statistical output. However, we are a very, very heavily based remittance country. If the remittance industry was killed, Dominica would go to the dregs.

That said, I would like to draw your attention to another measure of the economy, and that is GDP per capita. Dominica ranked 16 out of 32 of all Caribbean countries in terms of GDP per capita (IMF, 2011 stats). We ranked higher than Brazil, Venezuela, Jamaica and of course Haiti. GDP per capita is the nearest definition to measuring a country’s standard of living, and may be an indicator of a country’s economic happiness.

In closing let me offer the prime minister congratulations in his legal victory. Again, we are a beacon in that justice does prevail. However, let me also admonish the prime minister for his slightly inflammatory remarks. He would have been better served to state that “any slanderous or libelous accusations will not be tolerated under any circumstances.”

In that case, I 100 percent agree with Mr. Skerrit that the full face of the law should deal with such liars and hate spreaders.

As a loving Dominican, I stand “forward ever, backward never.”

Freedom of speach does not mean freedom to slander, freedom to infringe on other people’s rights and freedoms. It does not mean allowing people to betray your country[ their own country] by spreading all sorts of negativism about a small struggling developing country like Dominica. It does not mean allowing paople to incite violence and hatred in the country..it does not mean to allow people to break the law and walk away free…setting bad examples for our young people on the airways…teaching them to hate their leaders and those persons who dsont agree with them…I agree with the Prime Minister…this cant be allowed to continue!

There is a misconception that the people who supports Mr.Skerrit loves him. I am sure there may be a few who loves him but the majority i believe supports him because they are mostly in favour of his plans, programs and the way things are being handled in the country, therefore hence the support. The people does and always will have the power even in a comunist country, weather they want to use it or not is a next thing. A perfect example just look at what’s been happening with the fall of leaders even to their death under dictatorship. Dominica is no exception, because let’s be fair if the majority wasn’t in favour it would be over turned and don’t you there say is because they foolish or blinded. The role of a government is to give the masses of the people what they want good or bad and that’s also good politics. Democratic countries such as ours gives the power to leaders through the vote of the masses of the people, hence majority carries. In such a case it means the minority has to respect the wishes of the majority but at the same time also has the rights to try and convince the majority to change and see things their way. Until then the majority carries, i can’t get why this is so difficult to understand. What the opposition has been doing is all to scare people while they should be doing actual work to win support instead trying to insight violence. Don’t you know that in this effort the majority will win again because they are more in numbers so would walk over the rest? Blame the democratic system not me please. People not stupid to be getting what they need with hope for even more and change it just because a few feels they should. I am sure that the majority is in favour that the tone used on radio in trying to insight violence needs to stop and so supports the PM. Now don’t you try to be smart and say he trying to cut freedom of speech, because trust me the same majority would never allow it. We all know what the PM saying is true and needs to be stopped but just because is he saying the those who blue vex finds issues with it. I wonder if they really want to see the country fails just to prove their agender. When Obama got elected a white man say he wish he fail well he is failing and i hope they happy.

If Obama is failing it is because of those same people and the Republicans who want him to fail. They are always objecting to whatever he says and does and is always displeasing to them. In their eyes he cannot do anything good because they hate him for obvious reasons.

People should not go around and say what they want without facts. Plain and simple. People need to respect others and do not spread lies and cause people to get angry ie incite violence under the guise of demorcracy. Respect, Respect others. Whether you are a Public figure or not does not give one the right to say what they want without any facts. The kind of things I do hear people say and really untrue has set me shedding a tear especially when one is trying. I do hope and I have always said that one of these days the children or family of some of those who spread propoganda and lies etc will be one of those same Public Officer. January 11, 2012

An Olive Branch or a tamarind whip? No lie could last forever. Truth must prevail. Fear No more. Skerritt think again. The worse thing for any Govt. could engage in is to instill FEAR in its citizens. It is those same citizens who you have been calling on to come together, to work together for the good of Dominica.

There are presently thousands, upon thousands of Dominicans who are disappointed and dissatisfied with the way Dominica is being governed. Our constitution affords all of us the RIGHT to voice our opinions without fail or Fear: to express our opinions on issues that affect our lives without derogatory words, without libelous words, without curse words.

    Are those statements responsible?
—- Is not your damn business where we get our money from.
—- Go to hell !!! Go to hell !!!
—- No law, not even the Constitution could prevent me from being nominated.
—- call to supporters at a public meeting Tuesday night that they should not give comfort to those who dare express their views against corrupt practices by those in public office
—- calling on Dominican business men and women to pull out or discontinue advertising on Q95.
The audio clips clearly reveal those nonsensical comments.

But all must take heed. Some in leadership positions are suffering from Narcissism and thinks that they could do no wrong and if they do wrong, they could not be touched. Many a dictator began with irresponsible statements, threats to patriots and freedom fighters as well as media houses. After that came arrests, beatings, jail, disappearances. Corruption becomes the norm. The economy and the country suffers as a result. THE SIGNS ARE PLAIN TO SEE. THE TRENDS ARE GLARING. Many Dominicans have been demonised as cockroaches, traitors, Kakador involved in treasonous acts.

FEAR NO MORE. BE On YOUR GUARDS, my people, at all times. We fear no one but our GOD, be it ALLAH, Jehovah, Jah, Buddha.

Well, I listen to Skerritt yesterday, and I hope Dominicans are listening carefully and reading in between the line. What is his definition of inflammatory remarks? So now it seems journalist are about to be censored. Freedom of speech will soon be a thing of the past in Dominica. Skerritt is nicely easing into becoming a dictator, the sad thing is that most Dominicans are so taken by him that they are blind to what he is actually doing and saying.
Think of this, all of skerritt”s associates and heads of states he affiliates with are all dictators – he his learning from the best. If it walks like a duck, quack like a duck – Dominicans it is a duck. Skerritt is a dictator in making the sooner people wake up to this reality the better it will be for everybody.

There is only a certain amount of pressure that people can take. If you want to see things happen or change, tackle the individual ministries and advise the Minister to investigate. We are just an unethical nation who think that if we take the mike, we will be heard and the ignorant people will follow.

        January 12, 2012

Firstly i’d like to make you be aware that the government is not an independent entity! it is in fact the citizens themselves. Citizens have both a moral and economic responsibility to each other in a society. Individuals will pay taxes for the support of schools, roads, and other social welfare programs because it directly benefits them and those around them. Don’t think this Dominica government can function without the people. Without the people, there is no government. That’s why the govt should fair the people because the people is the core

Think about this…ALL DICTATORSHIPS IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA, AND THE SO CALLED DEVELOPED NATIONS HAVE BEEN TORN DOWN RECENTLY OR ARE ON THE VERGE OF BEING BROUGHT DOWN. It is very sad to see the P.M., being a PUBLIC FIGURE, is not able to deal with questions regarding his leadership or dealings on matters of integrity. I am really beginning to question his ability to lead and to take action crime adverse economic issues that have plagued Dominica lately. Let’s be careful that our support for such adverse actions by the P.M. does not dampen tourism, and other economic ventures. Like I said before, if he is in the political kitchen, he must be ready to put up with the HEAT. MUCH PRAYER FOR MY HOME ISLAND. Christians it is time to get on our faces for Dominica.

Enough is enough, these constant attacks against the good name of Dominica at home and abroad must stop,” PM Skerrit said, objecting to what he described as inciting language that was being used by a “handful of malcontents” to stir up mischief and a campaign of disobedience in Dominica

I’ll say it again, in the greatest of democracies (US, UK, EU) people are being jailed for INCITING VIOLENCE. Muslim clerics are being jailed for ‘inlamatory’ speeches in mosques. Why should we then tolerate people who go about inciting violence in Dominica.

Only the ignorant and wicked supporters of the opposition would come here on DNO and talk rubbish about dictatorship. The fact is there is too much os so-called freedom of speech in DA. We need to be more in line with the developed countries and monitor individuals who want to bring death and destruction to our country simply because they do not agree with the status quo. this CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be tolerated in any democratic society. The collective will of the majority must be respected. if you want political power it should be through the ballot box and only through there.

@ Esther and others who criticize what the PM stated. You are disobedient and need to learn to obey. People cannot go about stating derogatory remarks about their Prime Minister. He is not your little boy. He is the Leader of Dominica. You must have respect for him.
I reside in Toronto and if I did that, I would be hauled to Court. Who knows, even eventually my Canadian status would be revoked. People must utilize psychology and be discreet about what they state. I do believe that some of you have gone too far.
You must obey authority. This is a command from God. Otherwise, you are being disobedient to God Himself.
When you make a statement ensure that what you state is correct. Otherwise, all of you will be hauled to Court and you will deserve what you get.
Think about this. How would you like people to go about making derogatory remarks against you or even your family members?
It is time to humble yourselves and be respectful. If you do not support a Party or the PM this gives you no reason to lambaste him and defame his character. If you are Christians then you will act in godliness.
Recall what Our Lord Jesus Christ said: “Do unto others as you have them do unto you. Whatsoever you do to others, you do to Me.” Have you forgotten your Christian teachings? When will all of you learn this? God will hold us accountable for our attitude and words, one way or the other.
I know that my disciplined and respectable parents would never encourage me to speak in such a manner against the PM, not even in private, whether they support him or not. If I did, they would admonish me and inform me to keep my mouth shut. It is your obligation to be respectful.

And then the man has the gauls to talk now and talk of government selling passport to terrorist. Is this the kind of talk you want from a so called economist.

But this is what uwp is famous for talk

The Govt and people of DA gave Athie a water botlling arrangement and he said screw that , I want to talk instead

I keep saying that the people who run for public office in Dominica I do not think they are aware that they are putting themselves out there. When it happens they cannot handle the criticism.

THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY IS ALL ABOUT.

      • ?????????????
        January 11, 2012

People should not go around and say what they want without facts. Plain and simple. People need to respect others and do not spread lies and cause people to get angry ie incite violence under the guise of demorcracy. Respect, Respect others. Whether you are a Public figure or not does not give one the right to say what they want without any facts. The kind of things I do hear people say and really untrue has set me shedding a tear especially when one is trying. I do hope and I have always said that one of these days the children or family of some of those who spread propoganda and lies etc will be one of those same Public Officer. What will they say will be interesting. Then they will feel a dose of their own medicine. I am watching .. time flies so soon one of those days will be here.

For all those who have not come to the end of their learning, I encourage you and read the judgement of this case.

Skerrit you got all the right to declare war on those who do not have appetite for your corrupt practices. The court continues to encourage it.

I believe that this judge should be banned from ever sitting on a case in Dominica after Skerrit leaves office. I do not think she should even be allowed to visit Dominica again.

She has totally disrespected the intelligence of Dominicans and has done a huge disservice to the future of our country.

I continue to say, evil is for a time, and has no hold over God’s children, let us pray ceaslessly, for weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

We saw Mubarak went down, we saw Kadaffi went down, we saw Kim Jong Il disappeared, Bashar Al-Assad of Syria and many more like him will topple. It is only a matter of time. God is faithful, and he promise to take care of his children and I know he will.

If Skerrit is innocent in this passport fiasco..he should publish all the relevant info and clear his “good” name.. If he was also innocent in this dual citizenship case, he as an “honest” leader could have testified in court to defend his name and he could have presented all his passports as evidence… He claimed that he got his french citizenship as a child.. so if this is the case and he was on the right side of the law… Why did he write a letter to renounce it? When you are elected by the people… You have to answer to the people… he cant expect to hide behind the senior counsel’s skirt in court as if cat took his tongue and now try to silence the same ppl that have employed him! he should be ashamed to even open his mouth at this point in time! This behavior reminds me of that of a spoiled child who can only speak when his parents that defend and condone his wrong actions are present.. but he goes silent when it is essential for him to speak and speak bravely.

Are you making any where you are? A common strategy is to use fair to control people saying things like soon we won’t be able to leave here and such bad is coming. The people doing so may not be realizing that they giving Skerrit more power than they claim he has all just to scare people. We must also note that in most cases a leader gets brutal on their people they are the ones who ends up loosing by death. If that’s the way Mr. Skerrit wants to be remembered as a leader i strongly doubt it, so please people just chill, the majority wants (de man) so back off. It seems to me all who supports the government dumb and stupid all who supports the opposition clever and eyes wide open but yet still can’t convince the court or win an election.

PM Skeritt:”‘Enough is enough, these constant attacks against the good name of Dominica at home and abroad must stop.'”

Well said, PM. The problem is, i have heard you say this before and i am yet to see action taken against the mischiefmakers. Enough talk, already, sir! (With all due respect.)

Dominica is one of the few democracies in the world where people can essentially say whatever they want and get away with it. On a daily basis, the airwaves, in particular, are bombarded with all manner of incitement to violence and subversive acts. In an era where we must be ultra sensitive to our physical security, i think it is high time, sir, that the state machinery function to protect the state and the citizens. All persons inciting violence and subversive acts should be hauled in for interrogation (much as is done in other advanced democracies) and prosecuted if necessary.

Democracy and free speech DO NOT include speech that is meant to do harm.

If people want to oppose the government, do it with substance, not with misleading criticism and wickedness in the name of democracy. Dominicans need to stop doing and saying things about Dominica and Dominicans that are damaging. We must remember that curses lasts for generations. Be careful what you wish for when you speak. King David curse Joab for generations. Who knows if some of these people are not of the lineage of Joab. Be careful Dominicans with your words. Be careful! Some of us have children and will be great great great grandparents one day, you do not want to plant bad seeds with your words over this country that your very seed need to survive in, for years to come. This so-called ruling in favor of Skerrit and St. Jean reminds me of a former very popular NFL player (Football) player who killed his wife (DNO I did not call name) but won his case. He celebrated the outcome and said that he was vindicated because he was innocent. However, the curse was on him and everyone including himself knew he had committed the act. However, this popular NFL star thought he could hide forever and attempted to do the same thing later. Today as we speak, he is in jail and will be there for many years. Though he used the same lawyer that defended him the first time but this time around he could not. You see, the bible teaches that One’s sin will find him out. So let Skerrit and his supporters rejoice and feel vindicated for what they all know is wrong. His day is coming and Tony will not be able to defend him forever. Your sin must find you out sir! This verdict in your favor will serve as fertilizer to encourage you to keep doing what you have been doing; but like the great Samson of old, one day your lock will depart from you.

No law, no constitution should prevent a bona-fide Dominican from running for office.

Again I will reiterate that we need to change the law in order to accommodate the very same people whom the PM are daring to run for election.

The dual citizenship clause in the constitution is still barring them from contesting a seat.

If the PM truly wants them to run for office he should seriously consider changing the law. But I doubt he will.

I think that overseas Dominicans should rally against that law until it is taken out of the law books.

There are many Dominicans living overseas who have made and continue to make significant financial contributions to Dominica through their spport for community projects, schools, hospitals, farmers, the infirmary plus many more efforts and projects geared toward helping the less fortunate people of our country.

They do that while they still have a home and family to maintain overseas. Those people should be free to run for office without hindrance from the law.

I support changing the law right now because no law, no constitution should bar any Dominican from running for political office. What is good for the goose must be good for the gander.

SHOULD I NOW FEAR THAT MY COMMENTS ON DNO WILL BE UNDER THE WATCHFUL EYES OF THE PIED PIPER; AND THAT DNO WILL NOW PLACE MUCH MORE RESTRICTIONS ON POSTINGS THAT DON’T FAVOR THE PM, FOR FEAR OF REPRISAL?

WE DON’T LEAVE IN A VACUUM. I IMAGINE THAT TREASON TAKES A MUCH SOFTER DEFINITION IN DA RIGHT NOW.

WHEN THE FRENCH OR U.S. CITIZENS CALL FOR THE RESIGNATION OF THEIR LEADERS, THAT IS NOT CONSIDERED TREASON. IT IS CONSIDERED AN EXERCISE IN FREE SPEECH AND DEMOCRACY. WHEN THE FRENCH CITIZENS CALL FOR THE SHUT-DOWN OF PARIS, BECAUSE SARKOZY WANTS TO CHANGE THEIR RETIREMENT BENEFITS, IS THAT CONSIDERED TREASON OR AN EXERCISE IN DEMOCRACY?

THE UGLINESS OF PARTY POLITICS IS THE INABILITY TO SEE THE DITCH UNTIL ONE IS ALREADY IN IT. AN INFRINGEMENT ON ONE CITIZEN’S RIGHT, IS AN INFRINGEMENT ON ALL CITIZENS’ RIGHTS.

Tell me please what makes Dominica sweeter than any other island in the caribbean, is it the fact that people who used to be farmers and sell food, now have to go by the maqrket on a saturday to see if they get a piece of yam? or is it the fact that come christmas time they even have to remeove the duty on barrels that are coming from the same people that you all say cant afford to come home, if Dominica was so sweet, barrels would be come up and that would prompt people to come home, I understand your bias, I love my country, but the sweetness of a country should not just be the God given beauty after all these many years, we should be able to boast of some industry, some way of live that is enriching us, the biggest brand in Dominica is the party that one supports, not pride in the things we produce, not our peacfulness as a nation, not our God fearing attitude, but whether or not you Red or Blue. I say Dominica is like any other caribean island with God given beauty, the difference is unlike most we are heading towards a dictatorship, and that where I agree with the late Pierre Charles ( of blessed memory)We do wear the ignorance as a badge of honor.

I am not worried about censorship!
But no law abiding and peace loving Dominican should tolerate people who openly and constantly call for the destruction of our country, especially on Q95 . .
Some of the things being said regularly:
“Shut down Roseau, block the roads”
    “Close down the Blasted country”
“Remove Skerrit BY ANY MEANS Necessary”
    “Get those Criminals OUT IMMEDIATELY”
“Mayhem and Chaos exist in Dominica Now”

I believe that the offenders should be gien an amnesty. . . .
But This MUST stop from 11th Janusary 2012
All BLATANT and VICIOUS LIES, put out only to harm Dominica MUST STOP!

The picture Q95 paints of Dominica is just insane. If one is listening from abroad like I do and if they really dont know Dominica then hmmmm we would be doomed. Maybe the PM should not literally take matters into his own hands but perhaps these ppl on Q95 should record themselves and playback. The things they say are really hidious. I DO NOT want my children “US born but Dominicans to the bone” to ever ever listen to the rubbish these people preach about Dominica. Is a shame!!

        January 11, 2012

It is a talk show with a call in element> Yes I agree some of the callers are over the top, but to say Q95 should be shut down is taking it a bit far. The host should start censoring the callers and stop the repetitive negative callers. Matt in the morning covers all topics and current events, its not his show that’s the problem, just some of the callers.

I agree. As much as sometimes they do bring out some very well hidden information to open the eyes of the public…I too have difficulty listening to Q95. It is beyond me to listen to them. It does incite hate and violence. God does not like those things.

Good!! It’s about time Mr. Prime Minister. There is a limit to protection under free speech. What these “malcontent” are doing has long crossed that line. When you go on a U.S. radio and make all these allegations then your are putting Dominica and Dominicans at great harm.

haha my people mr forgot our motto man… ‘fear no more’… you have set the precedence… now ‘no law no constitution’ will stop us from taking our country from your rogue party…. it would be good for dno to publish in fine print what the judge wrote… so we can all see and comprehend… this judge blocked evidence from coming in the court and then said on the statement that no evidence was brought to show mr skerro n st jean had possession of a passport and/or showed allegiance to another country…. rubbish…. smelling worse than larbarse… and in the name of skerro….. many Dummynicans in the streets rejoicing at the total disrespect to OUR constitution by this guyanese woman… real Dominicans know whats up… even those who pretend to like d.l.p for sake of their jobs…. but we WILL take our nation back from the grips of iniquity…. shut down Q95… UM WE HAVE THE INTERNET…. WE HAVE FACEBOOK… WE HAVE TWITTER AND WE HAVE YOUTUBE… well since D.A going to be a central hub for internet traffic i guess mr skerro will get his fingers on the button to block certain traffic huh…. well is dat time he would make the biggest mistake… all those labourites with an inch of commonsense knows that skerrit is wrong but the support it because they can at least eat for the day…. how about eating for a month to a year… nope they don’t want to work hard… keep crying about chinese… wicked allu wicked… some of them have no shame… after the party n celebration… they still coming to ask people money to send there children to school…. only for the sake of an innocent child i would give to that person.. hoping the child will grow up to be different… i grew up knowing my family is poto freedom… they move to laybaw… but guess what… i always have my own mind… and frankly i don’t see what benefit the getting under laybaw… just to come and sewo in the streets then have to ask someone to pay their light bill….

      January 11, 2012

Cat…c’mon. Do you have to call people such names?…cockroaches?…I am quite sure you can be critical of those people whom you are referring to without calling them such…..What do one do to “roaches”,step on them right?…Well same rhetorical language, same inciting tone, isn’t it?….

So, it cannot be bad some to use,but OK for others to use…Remember the term…”rats” “we are going to smoke them” out?…”animals”…”we are going to crush”?.

Yes,it is true that people have a right to express their opinions, but we must be careful about the kind of “language” we use in our rhetoric…Language,is a very powerful tool.

I can understand; one is “pumped up”,with flow of adrenaline thru our veins….But we cannot loose sight of the fact that we are all Dominicans, and the fact of the matter is, to build a Nation, we must all come together as one….Politicians come and go,but People and Country remain…So let us all put our Country first…for our sake, and that of our children.

Please, I hope you understand where I am coming from.

Thank you very much….All the best to you.

      REBEL!!!.

This is a dangerous comment. Do you know this is what the Hutsis used to called the Tutsis in Rwanda before the genocide attack on them? Up to 1 million of them were killed, they were called cockroaches. Be careful!

Damn right…this cannot be tolerated under the guise of free speech.

If you have a problem – take it to the polls. Go up for election and put your money where your mouth is!

Stop using the guise of patriotism and journalism to incite the people.

Bring forth a plan and proposals to move the country forward. Take your proposals to the political platform.

Stop declaring war on Dominica, instead, prepare a post war strategy, a clean up strategy for when you get rid of Skerritt.

Everyone claims freedom of speech yet, they claim democracy is dead. How do the 2 go together?
