    @ Garcon
It’s not about what Dominica can benefit…..we breaking laws. Too many unfortunate young Dominican men have lost their lives traveling back door!!!
    Is that a benefit?

I only could imagine how unimpressed the French ambassador was trying to converse with this buffoon. Any time the dictator doesn’t have his prepared script he sounds like a congenital imbecile. I’m 100 000% certain that Mr. Skerrit was not the valedictorian of his class.

He became the prime minister by default. He has cemented himself in this position using a corrupt electoral system; treating, cheating and bribery and shameless enablers.

Any other issues being ‘discussed’ perhaps? Just another bit of half truth.

Maybe the French Ambassador is checking the political status of Dominica, wanted to find out if Dominica is still a Republic or has become a dictatorship ruled by a PM for life despot money grubber who will flee with all the peoples money if the country collapses. He wants to see if Dominica will become another Haiti and does not want France to provide financial support to someone who may flee the island with all the money when things get worse and the people rise up.

Do you really believe that The French Government with all their resources and intelligence capabilities would need to send a Diplomat to Dominica to pay a courtesy visit to ascertain your imaginary nonsense. If you understood what it means in Diplomatic circles when a Diplomat pays a courtesy visit to a Country you would never write such a comment, such visit shows respect from the visiting diplomat on behalf of the Government he represents thanking the host Country for their friendship and looking forward to continuing that relationship, but again, you are entitled to your opinion.

@dissident, I’m sure that the illegal entry into the French territories was discussed. Why did Skerritt need to emphasize that Dominca wants to maintain good and close relations with the French? Only when you annoy someone else that you have to do a mea culpa and reassure them. Trust me the French ambassador laid down the law to the double doctorate dude.

@dissident, for your information I’m a private citizen and I’m not paid with taxpayer money. He who pays the piper calls the tune, therefore you have the right to request the notes from Skerritt of the meeting he held whilst you paid him to work on your behalf. There is such a thing as freedom of information act which you can use to ascertain what went down at the meeting. You sound “bright” asking me for my sources but you are misguided. I’m not your public servant.
