Take heed of what is going on in Egypt – John to Skerrit

John (left), Skerrit

Opposition Leader Hector John is calling on Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit to take heed of the situation in Egypt that saw hundreds of thousands of people demonstrating for weeks for the president to step down.

John says the decision by President Hosni Mubarak to step down after weeks of protest is sending a clear message to the Caribbean and particularly Dominica to respect the wishes of the people.

The opposition United Workers Party has been calling on Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit to step down over allegations that he contested the 2009 general election as a dual citizen.

“There are lessons to be learned by everyone around the world. When the trust between the government and the people is conceived through fraud and corruption, that’s a dangerous path and that’s what we see happened in Egypt,” John said.

He continued: “What we see happening now is a constitutional crisis and an illegal prime minister. We are asking him to listen to the voice of the people and act in the interest of the people to have a thriving democracy to ensure that Dominicans are moving in the right direction.”

Now i understand what the freedomites were talking about when the said “Labourites are very stupid”, no wonder they hijack their party. The man is correct when he says that Skerit must be aware of the things that are going on in the world, this is very good advice to him. Skerit better stop allowing the drug lords to pass throught Dominican waters with their cocain and to tranship to the US and France. One day the same stupid Labourites will be the first to take to the streets when that monster Skerit unleash.

Don’t forget all the palaces Sadam had and the little hole the US had to pull him out off. Think of Charles Taylor at the international criminal court answering all these charges, all the Hatians leaders in the past. Labourites, put on you’ll glasses and see what’s going on-Skerit’s intention is to keep Dominicans POOR, enriched himself and his boys and have you all begging. That’s how these dictators operate: Build fancy houses, fancy cars and big palaces. SKERIT IS A DAM DICTATOR.

Why the freedomites that are supporting Skerit so angry with the UWP, is because they took them out of office.

God allow these things to happen, i know we saying all these things now, but time will tell.
We Dominicans are just careful with our jobs, but the people will one day get really angry and Skerit will find out: remember similar thing has happened in Dominica, right in Roseau.

Small busineses in Dominica clossing and Chinies are opening as soon as they close. That dictator signed an MOU with China to take over our commercial sector, that’s a strategy China is using in the African, Caribbean and Pacific countries: give caribbean islands a stadium for world cup cricket and Dominica, reapir and reenforce the west coast road with their people so half of the money is repatriated to China. If you Dominicans get the information from the banks, China has repatriated hundreds of million US dollars to China. It’s just alot of dumping that’s taking place in Dominica at present. Dominicans wake up. So, when MR. John ask Skerit to take hid it simply means you all Labourites that are lazy and don’t want to work will be the first ones to crucify him when the workers will be saying ‘ala’ give him a break.

    Is he for real????????????

I do not see the majority or even a significant numbe rof people calling on the PM to resign, so this statement by Hector is unsupported and uncalled for.

It’s time the UWP focus on important matters.
I do not hear them complaining about the way the country is being runned. I do not see them complaining about the job that the PM is doing. I do not see them complaining much about anything, but an issue which is currently before the court of law.

What does it show Dominica, that the most important thing that the Opposition sees as an issue in Dominica, is the fact the the PM allegdedly contested elections as a dual citizen.
Aren’t there more important things going on in Dominica?

I have yet to hear a comment from the Opposition on anything positive going on in Domincia. Never, ever have i heard them say anything good going on in Dominica.

At the end of the day – it’s not HECTOR or EDO or Ron who can get rid of the PM – it is DOMINICANS, Skerro himself, and perhaps the court – NO ONE ELSE.

So to try to incite uprisings or to alledge at imaginary rife is Dominica, gets Dominca Nowhere forward.

Come on HECTOR – it’s time you start singing the song – FORWARD WE Go, because apparently, this dual citizenship issue is not hindering the PM from performing!

I am not a supporter of the manner in which our current PM is running this country and allegedly defying authority. However, I am not comfortable with having Hon. Hector John as my prime minister either!! The Freedom Party has been quiet for a while. They raised very valid points during the last election (and its aftermath) and i was very impressed with the progress the party has made since its last decade or so of inactivity. I really hope they are putting their plans together for the next election and if they do not win i hope they form a really strong opposition. The current opposition must be commended for recognizing that the current administration needs to be held accountable but they are going about things the wrong way. I really hope we get a fresh batch of politicians with fresh ideas and the zeal to work next time around. WE need a new game plan. God bless our beloved island, Dominica.

John Hector needs to have his head examined. Can one believe that he is comparing Dominica to Egypt and the Egyptian President to the Dominica Prime Minister? Nonsense! Hector’s mind is warped. He has put his foot in his mouth. There is no comparison. Consider this, millions of people in Egypt to Dominica’s thousands and their separate situation. Mubarak was President for approximately 30 years. This man is 82 years. It was a long time coming that he should have resigned and given up the presidency. He ruled Egypt with an iron hand and oppressed the Egyptians. You should read all what he did to them and deprived them of during his reign. The time came through their revolt that he should go for obvious reasons. 30 years of oppression and he did nothing good to enhance the Egyptians lifestyle and progress of the country.
My only hope for the Egyptians is that the future government will be a fair and just one.
Do not compare the Dominican PM to the Egyptian President and vice versa. Those of you who do are insulting your Dominican PM and his dignity.
You do know The Golden Rule which Our Lord Jesus Christ taught us: Matthew 7:12 – Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and the prophets.
You are practicing Christians. Yet some of you do not practice what Our Lord has taught us.
Dominicans are not harnessed. They have freedom of speech and movement. There is a lot of progress in Dominica. Dominicans themselves can improve their life and lifestyle if they so wish. Some of them will have to do less criticizing and more concrete actions in assisting Dominica, wherever it is possible to do so.
Those Dominicans who criticize are so fortunate that they do not know it. Keep in mind the words of Mighty Sparrow: “You never miss the water until the well run dry.”
This is a small country where practically everyone knows each other. This is cause to love your country, love one another, do good to everyone, wherever possible, as the circumstances permit and to support your government.
Are you aware how many Dominicans overseas would just love to return to Dominica for good – to do some good – for their land of birth and to live happily, in peace and harmony with others until the day God calls them for their eternal judgment and hopefully Heaven?
Just imagine that you have Chinese people and no doubt other non-nationals as also Haitians
who are living comfortably in Dominica. Do likewise for you are Dominican-born – nationals.
Dominicans, contemplate on what you have/possess at this present. Note whatever progress Dominicans has achieved specifically in the approximately past 6 years I would state and thank God. Be grateful people – to God.
Some of you may be too happy and living a life of leisure that you are blinded and reject happiness. Open your eyes!
Cease listening to those politicians who appear not to possess inner intelligence who make such unworthy and useless remarks which instigate trouble and could cause an uprising. They are merely thinking of their political progress by undermining Prime Minister Skerrit. Can they prove to be a better Prime Minister? One, they are not God. Second, time will tell about them.
As I write this the Catholic Radio is on. A Priest is stating on his program, “The only way to happiness is to love God and love one another. Love is a decision and an act of the will.”
I have learned a lot from listening to the Catholic Radio which is an affiliate of the Eternal Word Television Network – EWTN Global Catholic Radio, transmitted via Buffalo, N.Y. including EWTN – TV. Listening to the programs on those Stations have deeply inspired me. My faith and knowledge have been enhanced including of course, love for God and for humanity.
Please accept this as a message and lesson to live well and in peace. Do something for others and for your country. Whether politicians or not, as you practice the faith, cease hatred and enmity and Dominica will prosper. As a result, there will be peace in Dominica.
This includes you, my fellow Dominicans. Love is repaid by love alone.
God bless Dominica and every Dominican! Move forward in Jesus Name and not backwards.

Mr John do you ever think before you allow your tongue to speak, do you even undertsnd the thinmgs that you utter? I doubt it, I truly think that you need to take a few pills in an effort to get your mental faculties back on track. (9 no insult intended sir) The people decided in free and fair elections on December 18 2009 when they voted you as MP of Salisbury remember, sir? You appeared on Marpin TV speaking on the issue that is before the Courts and you are literally asking the President of Dominica to get involved in a matter before the High Court and also not to act as Preasident if ( based on your rumor) the PM calls a General Elections. Until the Court declared the PM illegal the President of DA MUST, i retype, MUST sign the writ and declare Parliament dissolved if that is the decision of the sitting PM. SO SAYS THE LAWS OF DA. I ask you now to aquaint yourself with the duties and powS of the President of Dominica and stop rtrying to impose duties and responsibilities that do not exist under his porfolio. You have not in your inteview with Maropin cite oine section of law undeer which you would wish the Presidenmt to act!! NOT ONE!! YOU COULD NOT simply becuase what you asking him to do does not exist in law, something you seem not to know much about. Sir, I really feel sad for you as you dont seem to have the patience or respect for the rule of law that states a man is innocent until proven guilty, UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, not when you and UWP and your voices on Q says so ok. Get aquainted with that irrefutable principle of Justice. Mr John you continue to embarass the good people of Bawi. Peace.

Additonally Mr John, your comparisons between Egypt and Dominica needed much more reseacrh and factual statements not those loose ambiguous staements you made to the press. Its time you start talking when you have enough facts or credible information to share until then, read some more and start workingon your policies to present to the nation when ever this PM deides to call fresh election a power entrusted to his office by THE LAW, BY THE LAW!! ITS NOT YOU ALLOWING HIM TO CALL FRESH ELECTIONS HE ALREADY HOLDS THE POWER AND IT IS SOLELY ON HIS DESCRETION SO YOUR STATEMENT TO MARPIN RECENTLY IS ONE OF GROSS IGNORANCE OF THE POWERS OF THE PRIME MINISTER OF YOUR COUNTRY. Help!! I would really want to know if the people who write these comments realize that it’s not only Dominicans who read these comments. Reading through some of these comments, I feel so bad and frustrated knowing that people all around the world are reading and wondering about this island we boast so much about.
To have the leader of the opposition making such statements, is downright mischievous and in my humble opinion, I think he should be deciplined. Why should this young man allow others to manipulate his thinking? Did you read this crap before you submitted it for publication? Or maybe someone in the party don’t like you and puts your name to these comments?
Whatever is in the courts, let courts take care of that, but I will boldly say, whoever cannot see the improvements in Dominica are literally blind or are outright malicious. Even first-time visitors to the island, have commented to me that they see improvements. How? you may ask. It’s because they saw new projects wherever they went. Why do you think so many Dominicans abroad are now coming back home, and many more are planning to do so? Even those who critized Dominica and said Dominica is no place for them.

Mr.John and his UWP people must be told over and over again that the Prime Minister and the Minister of Education are legal.

If he and his supporters can show the people of DA any court orders that the two Honorable Gentlemen has to demit office, then they are illegal.

That is the problem we have in DA,people are just trying to take the law into their hands without the justice system making a decision.

If I have to follow Mr.John and supporters leads,I can therefore say they are to head to jail for breaking the law when they were charged by the police a few weeks ago.

Freedom is well and alive in DA,……The problem is a political party with three (3) radio talk show host can not get to defeat the government on it record of production,so they have to attack people and not policy.

Let me first say there are no perfect administration in all of politics in the whole wide world from the start mankind.

Each administration in the world have and will make errors during the time period it is given to govern.

It is always true we as a people must at all times keep our government feet to the fire but it must be done in a civil way base on facts and constructive criticism.

agian, mubarack is one of the richest men in the world. he is worth roughly 70 BILLION dollars in a country where the people live on less than 2 dollars a day. in some ways Egypt cannot be compared to dominica. but in some ways it can. there are some people who will get away with crime period. unforunate but true.
the politicks in Egypt is a bit differnet, either they live under a corrupt dictatorship or under sharia law where women fingers are cut off for wearing nail polish, where they are forced to wear a burka, they cannot posses a drivers liscence and all the other 1st century laws you can think of are instilled. lets seee what will become of the Egyption people. later will be greater. they will regret it just like the uprising in iran 32 years ago. bottom line there is so much we can do about corruption in high places. the devil is the ruler of this world if he wasn’t he would not have offered it to jesus. but we still pray and take whwt ever actions that we can till jesus comes agian.

If Skerrit was a Commonwealh citizen a Trinidadian, Vincentian,or British and lived in Dominica for at least a year, I am sure this would only be a Constitutional dispute as it is presently for some and not the majority of Dominicans. It has become debatable although Dominica always had a good economic/political relationship with France(GUADELOUPE and MARTINQUE) and maybe it can be said, there are more Dominicans in FRACE, Martinque and Guadeloupe earning a good living and giving Dominica the opportunity and space to continue that development

They will not and cannot demontrate because the first thing they think of is ” I doh want to lose my job, I have bills to pay, how I going to eat, I have my child/children to send to school/feed. Especially those civil servants, we as a people do not think of the future, we only live for the present. I do not see another Malcom X or a Martin Luther King coming around in my life time. I would not compare Egypt with dominica, but then again we are dealing with man, and the heart of man can be easily corrupted. Give man enough time and they will do anything.

    dear sir,

Maybe you should be the one to give up leadership. For one i don’t see you making any contributions to UWP. All you do is repeat information said by Lennox which has already been milked dry. The only reason you are the opposition leader is because you won Salisbury seat which by the way Yellow could have won going up on a UWP ticket. Before you make any demands please make a contribution but at least you make me laugh..

Well said JC. Matter of fact, I think Lennox is the leader of the opposition. These guys have never come up with their own story. Its only after Lennox runs his mouth on a Saturday that they repeat it during the week. The same goes for Groovie Bat…..no originality….

The caribbean is a zone of peace in comparison to other countries worldwide. However, every now and again within our archipelago someone decides to start revolting.

Surely, we don’t want to see another Grenada (1983) or Trinidad (1990) – although the situation in Dominica is not that bad.

    Instead let us promote ‘peace’.

  47. Change we can believe in LBP
    February 11, 2011

Hector is an ex-classmate and it is unfortunate the comments made against him. This is my saying that,” If what Hector said stirs up a lot of response/debate then it is well worth it to take a pulse of the population thinking.” After reading most of the comments I realize how underdevelop our democracy is in terms of the general public function as it relates to a debate. Where is the maturity that is needed to move Dominica, can anyone agree to disagree and in the end respect each other? This is a society lacking in attracting the best and brightest from our country because they read the comments on DNO and here of threats being made against people for supporting one party or another. Is that the country we want to leave for our children? Today I listen to Pastor Rodney’s program “Kingdom Come” I believe is the name and he mentioned threatening calls being made to his home; I mean what kind of country are we developing? We all need to tone down and not wait until things escalate and it is the responsibility of labor, UWP and Freedom to come together to make this clear. This is not about who win because we all stand to loose. Therefore in closing I call on Hector as a ex-Campus student with me and all the party leadership in Dominica to meet with each other and address this issue urgently before it is too late. gentle people words have legs and if we utter them frequently they will gain appendage and become part of us and finally cause us to act out. Please if not for the old people, do it for the young people to have something to be proud about as it relates to conflict resolution. In the end we all die and live the power/country to be ran by someone else aka cannot take it with you so why stress.

Say what all you want about hector, it was not any opposition who started this revolution in Egypt. It was young people, people who were fed up. Keep in mind that many may have expressed similar sentiments to what I am reading here. BUT look what happened 30 years later, so many of you will change your tune when you have opened your eyes.

Maybe many will be looking at John and the opposition, while a giant is being bred elsewhere. Dominicans learn to love yourselves and correct wrong when you see it. DO not encourage wrongdoings, all because you love someone. WHat I am seeing here, is poor people being so dumb that they are staying poor while pushing the rich to the top. Most of the people I hearing with the blasphemy are poor malaway, people who loves to receive hand outs, with no way of making a better life for themselves while shouting their love for a particular party. It is all good to love, but what about you. have you consider yourselves and your position. Stop begging and start thinking about you and your children future.

Are you saying that dual citizenship = injustice if so there are a lot of guilty ones from both parties. Just because one claims he renuced his US citizenship right before election does not make him a saint in the matter because he served many years in cabinet as a Us citizen. It’s like the pot calling the kettle black. And while we are at it please explain to me why the electoral reform that the UWP wants right now ( as of yesterday ) they did not see it fit to implement while they were in office. Open your eyes. It seems to me what is going on with the opposition right now is that they will do anything for power but it is not all Dominicans who are fools. The very same things they are accusing the ruling party of they did the very same thing while thy were in power. Dominica was on the brink of economic disaster under UWP reign. DLP under the leaderhip of ROOSEVELT SKERRITT brought Dominica back to prominence. If you want to admit it in this hard economic times worldwide we are doing better than most caribbean islands. What rights are you being denied of in Dominica? DLP will never be perfect but they have a whole lot more to offer than the opposition. Until such time that the oppositin can show we the people of Dominica that they can offer us something better than what we have right now we wil stick with the DLP. They should stop looking for every little minor faults and show us what plans they have to improve the country. Dual citizenship is not a plan, bin bobol is not a plan. Dig deeper.

‘Take heed of what is going on in Egypt’ Mr John has advised the PM. He wants the PM to listen to the voice of the people and step down.

This is Dominica and not Egypt. Skeritt is no Mubarak (not yet some might say). There is no comparison.

Why can’t the UWP wait for the issue to be heard in court. Once heard and IF the PM is guilty, then he will have no option but to stand down. What happens then will his No 2 step in or will there be an election. IF the DLP were to win, would the UWP accept defeat (same applies to the DLP if UWP were to win). I for one hope so, as this constant playing with the peoples minds and dividing the nation is getting boring.

If the UWP are confident that they will win the case, then they should be making plans on how they will win over the people. Please show/tell us what you will do for Dominica and its people. Please agree to ONE leader (as we can only have one PM). Impress undecided voters like me.

Please dont wish/encourage an Egyptian style protest, little Dominica will not be able to cope with the loss of lives nor have we got the financial means to repair what ever damage that may occur.

Dominica is not Egypt and can never be compared to Egypt . Years ago I met the Prime Minister on one of his overseas trips. I mentioned to him that the dual citizenship clause in the constitution is a hindrance for Dominicans who would like to be parliamentarians but are barred from holding political office because of that clause in the constitution.

The Prime Minister replied to me that there are many other areas one can contribute to the country instead of being in parliament. I had no idea then that the PM was a dual citizen. Today I stand convinced that the PM is not in favour of constitutional reform regarding the dual citizenship issue and even if he survives the storm he will not change the law.

I for one is in favour of changing the law because irrespective of how many citiizenships a native Dominican holds he remains 100% Dominican.

Dominicans today have lost their sense of purpose and have resorted to fighting one another over petty and unimportant matters. I am a supporter of neither red, blue nor green. I believe that Dominica comes first and the colours come after. Sorry to say it but I would like a natural disaster of great magnitude to strike Dominica if this is what it will take to bring the people together. Today there is too much political hatred, division and enmity among our people.

Our goal is nation building not nation breaking. Come on brothers and sisters let’s us come together to heal the nation. It is plain to see that the era belongs to Skerrit and therefore no one can take it away from him. Those who are opposing should oppose constructively. Do not oppose because of jealousy and malice.

Be patriotic and support your country. Help build a future for your children. Skerrit will never be there forever. Stop being the laughing stock of the Caribbean. Many outsiders are reading your foolish and negative comments.

    Hector,
Be aware that the people are looking and seeing that you are NO Mr. Williams, and after years of asking the UWP to work for us the people of Coulibistrie, Morne Ratchette and Salisbuy, this is how you represent us?

We the young people from the Salisbury Constituency call on Opposition Leader Hector John to take heed of the situation in Egypt that saw hundreds of thousands of people demonstrating for weeks for the president to step down, We will do it in less than 18 days, peacefully, without the help of any army.

The opposition United Workers Party has been calling on Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit to step down over allegations that he contested the 2009 general election as a dual citizen, but the PM is working.Say what you have done since we gave you the mandate? Who should step down? The PM seat is sure, yours on the other hand is skeptical. Take HEED.

“There are lessons to be learned by everyone around the world. Please show us your expertise in action. Its a dangerous path if you cannot get us to side your ideas.A dangerous path for you the next General Elections, similar to what we see happened in Egypt.

We will soon be asking Mr. John to listen to the voice of the people and act in the interest of the people to have a thriving democracy to ensure that Dominicans are moving in the right direction. Get ready my Boy, We have a young rising Star, A power- house ready to work for his people, and he too supports the legitimacy of the PM. Take heed Hector, We are going to paint Salisbury in RED.

Respect the wishes of the people? This from the mouth of the Leader of the Opposition? This is the same man whose party has resoundingly lost the elections and his party has not respected the wishes of the people. Have refused to go to house etc. The people chose Roosevelt Skerrit… RESPECT THOSE WISHES AND STOP CONCERNING YOURSELF WITH EGYPT!!!

In fact. I am so disappointed in Hector John comments. I think Hector John is the Dca Sarah Palin but a male version without the looks. He cannot be making such ludicrous comments constantly. Now I am surely not surprised as to why Hector hasn’t brought any policies forward. He cannot have any. Not with comments like those

  71. John Brown
    February 11, 2011

You all are the ones not respecting the wishes of the people! Your party lost the election, yet you guys won’t respect the wishes of the overwhelming majority of Dominicans. Every election the UWP losses, they challenge in court trying to over turn the people’s wishes. Never in the history of Dominica has a political party spend so much time in court.

If you think the PM is similar to Mubarak then why don’t YOU call for street protest as they did in Egypt? Your are the opposition leader right? Call for street protest, prove to the world that the Dominican public do not want the PM; prove to the world that the overwhelming majority of Dominicans are with the UWP.

The UWP can’t even get 50 people to attend a demonstration; have you notice that sir? What are you talking about? If you truly believe what you are saying prove it, talk is cheap!! Mr.JOHN call for street protest like in Egypt; prove your point to the world.

As you are also desperate for power why don’t you take whatever passport you have and your CV and get the hell out to Cairo and take the other imbeciles with you.

It is such a shame that a man who want to be leader of a Country one day could talk such fooooolishness, there was an election just a couple months ago in Dominca, which all observers say was free and fair, only the UWP found it wasn’t and that was simply because it didnt go in their favor, the wise people of Dominca voted 18 to 3 in favor of the Dominca Labour Party because they felt that of the ywo party’s the DLP stood a better chance of moving the Country forward for the benifit of all Domincans and Hector John has the jack in his behind causing him to talk such foolishness, My goodness why do some poeple take up positions that they cant handle????

Suspect, where two are gathered in the name of Jesus Christ, His Holy Spirit takes authority. And so, I stand with you, as you have spoken to God, that He might interfer; to demonstrate His authority, for the sake of our Dominica and His people, there.

I agree with you, the mind of man is the central process of Life; the reason I am so disturbed that so many people are so quick to “mouth” our Dominica, spewing the futility processed in their minds against her.

But give thanks to God, He is on the side of those who give Him reverend fear, and the majority of Dominicans are still, God fearing people!

Now join with me to rebuke the comment of the person identified as “follower” in the name of Jesus Christ! May our God of Love, Truth, Power, and Holiness “silence the avenger and the foe” Psalm 8: 2

When the trust between the government and the people is conceived through fraud and corruption, that’s a dangerous. these are words from John. How can he be so blind to not see what is happening in Egypt and Dominica is totally different.. The people, yes the people are the ones who gave the labour party a 18-3 majority in parliament, The OAS, and Caricom observers said that the election was free and fair, so when is Mr. John and his group of trouble makers ever going to accept the results.

We cannot compare Dominca to what is happening in Egypt, it is completely different. Mr. John you are misleading the Dominican public, you are an educated guy, so please take the time out to educate yourself on Egypt before going any further………………..

MR. JOHN… i beleive it is you who need to listen to the voice of the people. when the majority does not support your agenda, nor attend ur little rallies and cries, maybe you should take heed of the voice of the majority.

The voice of the people is clear, and i beleive that it is you who are out of sync. get in tune with the needs of the people and bring forth a comprehensive plan. your small inner circle is not the voice of the people, it is the opinions of a minority of should i say opinions of few.

your political path if flawed and designed to fail. win their hearts by listening to them and form a plan that addresses their needs, maybe then you will get more followers and can truly say the voice of the people.

***************** HOW TO BE AN OPPOSITION LEADER***************

    Hon Hector John,

It’s good to know that you’re in touch with some of the things happening around the world BUT…..

It would be in YOUR interest & Dominica’s interest if you can instead TAKE HEED of what’s happening with your party [UWP] !!! What’s happening in Egypt should be the very least of your concern and Dominicans’ concern……. Mr. John!!

As I said before, the Labour party is not the best choice for DA but they just happen to be the only choice left.

So while you’re busy asking the PM to take heed!! You should be “BUSIER” taking heed in being a real opposition party leader in DA.

So please return to your office and find a way/commit your self in mustering an economic plan for DA thus a vision plan!!

    Can you please do that????

    Thanks,

      Wat’s up Real?

The UWP may or may not succeed in denying the Dominican people the PM we voted for to run the country, based on a technicality, but it doesn’t change the fact that Dominicans outright rejected the UWP.

The case is before the courts, why should Skerrit step down before there is a ruling? I could understand the alcoholic saying this if the court said Skerrit was ineligible and he refused to step down.

The party of hate is all about creating turmoil in a once peaceful country. They’re still not a step closer in having any plans for the country.
