Deputy speaker of the House of Assembly Ronald Toulon has failed to appear in court and a warrant has been issued for him to do so.
Toulon has been summoned to court, following his failure to declare his assets to the Integrity in Public Office (IPO) Commission in 2009. He did not show up in Thursday’s court proceedings, and no reason was given for his non appearance.
Toulon, who is also the Member of Parliament for the Colihaut constituency, is among 25 people in public life who were charged last year for not filing their declarations. The warrant for his arrest, issued by Chief Magistrate Evelina Baptiste, is meant to take Toulon before the court.
Last month Leader of the United Workers Party Ron Green had a warrant issued for him to appear in court for the same matter.

A warrant is not out for the PM’s arrest because he has not done a no show for his case.
Zey Zey, the Prime Minister has declared all his ASSETS to the INTEGRTITY IN PUBLIC OFFICE COMMISSION (IPO). The body empowered to receive these declarations not Q95, LENNOX LINTON and all those who claim to stand up for good governance and integrity.
He is in good standing with them, so eat your heart out because there is no MEDICINE that can cure you!!!

Is this the new legal jargon being issued by the Court or is it DNO’s choice of words?. Was a Bench Warrant issued for his arrest or was it not? or… is DNO unsure? Or being cautious since the Isidore matter?
We will be watching in future when other ..”for him to do so”, warrants are issued by the Court in other cases where individuals fail to appear.
shame shame shame….. embarrassing the government and the party. with great office comes great responsibility and the men who endeavor to hold office should also be disciplined and responsible enough to meet the demands of said office.

well sah ,WAT KINDA PUBLIC EMBRASSMENT IS THAT , i thought i voted for proper representation and improving the poor life style but it seems all am seeing is that government is more interested in the court and not in the development of the country —– just take it easy later will be greater

Ron Green went on radio stating his assets naming his old vehicle etc etc and wanted the prime minister to do the same isn’t ironic that he fail to declare it where it counts. It goes to show that these guys are not sincere just blowing a lot of hot air

Zeh zeh….he did not refuse to declare, he submitted it late. Meaning after the deadline. His late submission was not accepted. Educate allu self and stop blowing hot EMPTY air.
