Allen Stanford to be sentenced tomorrow

Stanford

Disgraced Texas financier Allen Stanford will know his fate tomorrow, June 14, when US District Judge David Hittner, who presided over Stanford’s six-week trial earlier this year, is scheduled to sentence the former Caribbean playboy.

Once considered a billionaire but subsequently declared indigent, Stanford was convicted on March 6 by a federal jury in Houston on fraud, conspiracy and obstruction charges.

Since the fall of Allen Stanford, Antigua and Barbados economy falling like dead flies! Tourism is like sh+++. This is what the US S & P (Standard and Poor) said Downgrade credit rating of Barbados-based Caribbean Development Bank
    May 24, 2012
The U.S based rating agency, Moody Investors Services has downgraded the credit rating of the Barbados-based Caribbean Development Bank [CDB] by one notch from AAA to AA1.
CDB president Dr Warren Smith told the bank’s annual board of governors meeting yesterday that the downgrade followed a routine examination of the region’s premier development bank.
He says the Bank is disappointed with the downgrade but it was accepted “in today’s heightened environment of uncertainty”.
Dr Smith added that the CDB’s “risk management practices need to be strengthened” and the Bank is therefore carrying out an in depth examination of its risk management framework.
Grenada has already expressed concerns that the downgrade could lead to higher borrowing costs for Caribbean countries and St Lucia’s Prime Minister Dr Kenny Anthony urged the Bank to move quickly to get the downgrade reversed.

      @ Tiger

Some of you make me laugh. Do you know anyone in this age who live to at least 150 years? The Court is fully aware of that. He will be dead by then. I do not think he will live to be 100. If he does, he will be a lucky man. God is giving him the time to repent. I hope he makes good use of this time in God and with God.

The U.S. authorities have been busy in the past years bringing those people to Court. Through the years many men who appeared to be rich and famous have been brought down by their avarice and tricky. Little did their investors know that they were deceivers as they took advantage of them. Know that family members could do likewise. They are human.
Madoc is doing time in the U.S. prison for 150 years. He will die there. If you hear about this man and his lifestyle. He was filthy rich as the saying goes and a weird character. I heard all his furniture was in black and he dressed in black. I wonder who he represented? The devil? There are some who spent time in prison and there are others who are still there. It is only a matter of time. Now it is Stanford’s time. Let us hear how much time he will get.
I always recall one of my dear mother’s wise words: “Never envy what others have. You do not know what they did to get it.”

      @ conscious

What are you stating? Get with it. He did not borrow money from those people. The man stole/swindled billions from them, showing off that he is a rich person/investor and living off their avails.

Oh how the mighty has fallen. This guy behaved like he was the crown prince of Antigua and thought with his money he could buy everything and everybody. Such arrogance.

I know some other arrogant people who have fallen just as hard. There is another one I know (this is personal now), that I wish would fall just as hard.

Go to Luke in Holy Scriptures: “…He shall put down the mighty from their seat and exalteth the humble. He shall fill the hungry with good things and the rich He shall send empty away…”
This is one of the things that happens to them when they reject God.
