PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, Monday August 8, 2011 – A Caribbean Airlines (CAL) aircraft, bearing the same flight number as the plane that crash landed in Guyana last Sunday, has been grounded at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York because of engine trouble, the Trinidad Guardian has reported.
The newspaper said that the country’s Transport Minister Devant Maharaj had confirmed that that flight BW523 did not take off “due to mechanical problems”.
Mechanical issues are quite common in the aviation industry. Its just a part of the business that why only the players with deep pockets can make a go at it and survive.
Hey maks, you just did not realise until now after I said so that you are getting old and full of aches and pains like all of us. ha ha ha. Guess what your flight number is the same as everyone else “humanbeingGTNGOLD” Don’t feel hurt, its part of life. Not even you was meant to last forever.
Ok, please read before making comments.
DA Massive my raase… Nothing was ever mentioned about same registration … why don’t you read that again then make your comment
Was that a premonition, this plane with the crashed plane registration numbers? Hmm. All I can say is this, these machines are built by human hands, and they will at some point give problems, just like a car, a boat, a motor cycle or even a weed cutter, after all God has created us and as we get old we have pains and problems in our bodies. However, I am just happy that the plane was grounded before another disaster and hope that they will make a complete check on all their other planes.
Flight Number
The report did NOT say flight registration. It said flight number. Please familiarize yourself with these before you make a comment. It’s like this rumors begin to spread.
