Guyana’s self-proclaimed Pope, Philbert London, and his Beacon Ministries Church are anxious to get past his embarrassing sex scandal, but the government hints that the religious leader is not off the hook just yet.
At least three government ministers say they are scrutinizing the incident.
Earlier this month, several pornographic photographs of London and various women made the rounds on social media.
One photograph showed a smiling London cuddled next to an unidentified woman, while another photograph had a man, believed to be him, naked and sprawled between two naked women.

A situation like this one, is the reason people need to have profound knowledge, of God’s Word in the Bible, before they go holding to a certain human being like themselves, to play Church.
When God knows our heart, that we are searching and is determined to know the Truth and to live by it, He will not leave us alone, to be rocking to and fro like a boat on wild waters. But He will give us His Holy Spirit, as He promised, to teach us to know Him and His Laws of Life; He will not leave us to fall in the trap of death.
We, who have God’s Word and knows His Laws, cannot be fooled by those who are falsely representing Him, because He is the Light of Life and that is the path, on which Holy Spirits will keep us.
I hope that this man’s followers are ignorant about the choice which they have made, for God’s Grace is mercy and compassion–His Love for mankind –so He will set them free. But woe to those who know what they are doing but continue with it.

No surprise, religious leaders like big titles.Just a few examples which have nothing 2 do with the word of God the bible.Father,monsignor,cardinal holy father.most holy father,his grace,pope,reverend and they called their wives first lady.
The Lord told His followers do not call the self proclaimed religious leaders rabbi, master,teacher,they are just plain hypocrites Matthew 23:6-11.
Peter they claimed to be the first pope, called Paul (brother Paul) 1 Peter 3:15.When Paul rebuked Peter he did not call him pope or holy father Galatians 2:11.Every believer in Christ is called a brother or sister.OK

The BEACON MINISTRIES CHURCH in Guyana is a cult.
It is misleading and dangerous because it pretends to be ”Christian” and attracts people who are looking for a genuine Christian congregation.
A cult is founded by somebody who has conferred upon himself (herself) a title, and assumed a leadership position without being duly appointed by anybody.
The ”leader” is not under subjection to anybody. He (or she) is not accountable to anybody and reports to nobody. The leader is independent and dictatorial.
The ”leader” makes up the beliefs and practices of the group or they are taken from other religious organizations. Some have adopted symbolism and rituals from lodges with an uncertain and shady history. The cult teachings and practices are not taken from the Bible. On the contrary they are often very unscriptural. The leader takes advantage of the fact that his (her) followers are Biblical illiterates who don’t know their Bibles and are easy to control.

The cult leader has no obvious commitment to the Bible. He (she) may appear to preach from it but a genuine minister with theological training would know it was a pretence. The Bible’s morals and values do not guide the cult leader’s life. That is why sexual transgressions are so rampant among then.
Another area of mystery in a cult is money. Usually the financial situation is completely under the control of the founder or current leader who reports to nobody. Unlike a genuine church congregation there are no monthly board of (elected) directors meetings or annual congregational business meetings. Nobody knows how much money comes in and who is receiving a salary or how much.
I encourage people to attend a church where the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) (Romans 1:16) is preached,
and the Bible is taught (2 Timothy 3:16,17) (2 Timothy 4:1-4) Read the New Testament for yourself. Look for a church that honors the word of God.

True! And he was not followed by the Guyanese people. They were not as easily fooled as Jones had thought they would be. However, people came from neighboring countries and America who agreed with his world view and were attracted to his offer of communal living in Guyana.
He was a bi-sexual with a preference for women.
Jones took advantage of religious people who were not born again and were Biblically illiterate.
London would have more appeal to the people of Guyana than Jones did. Looking at the pictures it is obvious he is reaching his own.
Let us pray that this operation will be shut down before it becomes the slaughter house Jone’s

I know there is only one pope in the world, giving yourself the title will tke you down. There is no smoke without a fire.
There is only one ”pope” and he is an imposter.
He is not the vicar of Christ. The Holy Spirit alone is the Vicar of Christ. John 14:16,17.
He is not the successor of Peter. Peter left no instructions as to how a successor for himself was to be chosen because none was required.
Peter had no special status in the early church. He himself only claimed to be an ”apostle” 1 Peter 1:1 and an ”elder” 1 Peter 5:1.
Paul rebuked Peter openly before the congregation ”…because he was to be blamed.” Galatians 2:11,14. Obviously Paul did not consider Peter his superior in the faith. Can you imagine a priest today speaking this way to the pope?
Most of the New Testament epistles were written by Paul not Peter.
In the first century A.D. most of the churches were established by Paul not by Peter. It was Paul who guided the churches and helped them with their problems by his epistles and visits not Peter.
