Regional airline LIAT has responded to rumours circulating over the past 24 hours, particularly out of Barbados, about an alleged accident involving its aircraft.
The airline wishes to indicate that there is no truth to such reports.
LIAT calls upon the perpetrators of this hoax to desist from this deplorable action which has been the source of great concern to those who have heard it.

it was a blackberry joke….and in the joke Liat was never even mentioned…..the joke just said plane crash off the coast of antigua….and then there was a pic showing a toy plane inside a woman’s ting….

It is good to hear from liat that their is not truth to rumors of a possible accident involving one of their aircrafs. However, they did not say anything to clear all doubts. I would have felt much better if they had denied the report and tell us where the plane in question is.
