JAMAICAN scientist Dr Henry Lowe last night threw a lifeline to men worldwide when he announced that he had developed a formula that can reduce and eliminate prostate cancer, the number one cause of cancer deaths among males.

“I am pleased to announce that we have reached the final stages in the development of the Alpha Prostate Formula, which will be on the market in the next three months under the Eden Gardens brand,” Dr Lowe told guests at the launch of Bio-Tech R&D Institute at the Terra Nova Hotel in Kingston.

Just because the FDA approves something, it doesn’t mean that it is safe. A lot of their approved stuff has been recalled. There are a lot of politics involved with the FDA. Hyperthermia treatments have been eliminating prostate and breast cancers for years, but you never hear about that because the pharmaceutical industry doesn’t profit from that treament.

@ FORKIT Wow! awaiting FDA aproval. Do you kow that the FDA (Federal drug Administration) is a US based department. It has no beraings on another country. The only jurisdiction it has is to say what drug is good or bad for Americans not the owrld. However if you are familiar with the system you will know that the big pharmaceutical companies of America will find issues witht eh drug from Jamaica. Why? Money money money, a drug from the Caribbean with the potential of lessenning the efffects of Prostrate cancer would never hit the American market becaus they would lose out. it was not created by them they can’t make the money so yes something will be wrobf with it. Why do you think many Americans go over to Sewden who have drugs that have bee known to cure cancer? because even with reputable compnaies and countires BIG Pharmacy in america does not like to share. how did they try to stop it ? by making announcements tell ing people the grugs are bad even if people who have testimonials hvae been lobbying thier statesmen to make the drug available in the States. We need to stop the iollconceived notions and slave mentaltity that if it does not come from America then it is not good. I hope you arw aware that many so call FDA aproved drugs have killed people and are beign recalled every day for doing so. Let’s learn to be porud of our caribbean accomplishments, we have the brains and heart just like them.

Why FDA approval? Have not the FDA approved many drugs proven to be detrimental to people? Taliking about side effects, how many of those very drugs are the targets for class action suits? Do we always have to go this route, that sometimes work mostly for multi-billion dollar corporations?

I lost my granddad to prostate cancer. This breakthrough may be too late for him, but I urge all men to get examined. Do not be embarrassed. Cancer is a matter of life and death. Hope this spreads through the market quickly…my thanks and congratulations to Dr. Lowe.

voila bravo i love that,,,,,now wait for the f.d.a of america to come n say they not verifying it,,,,cuz they have a cure already,,,,catch is it costs u.s $93000 over a period of 4 months,,,,the f.d.a ( food n drug administration) decided this is too expensive and would have a hard time verifying it for use,,,,so to get such a cure u’d have to b filthy rich since most insurances would b skeptical to give u coverage,,,,big up to jamaica,,,hope we can see what happens when we have tertiary education established in our own land,,,,,bout time to upgrade the state college into an institution which gives p.h.d’s n masters,,,,to hell with other countries accreditations,,,,we will do good all by ourselves,,,now i guess dat means we the men can be as promiscuous as ever yes i lol
