The border between the two countries was opened briefly

Tens of thousands of Venezuelans have poured across into neighbouring Colombia to buy basic goods amid shortages at home, during a brief opening of the border that has been closed for almost a year.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro closed the border in August 2015, citing smuggling and penetration by Colombian fighters. On Sunday, he authorised a 12-hour opening of the pedestrian bridge that connects Tachira, in Venezuela, and Cucuta, in Colombia, for the first time in 11 months.

Victor Bautista, the director of the Colombian border authority, said that an estimated 35,000 Venezuelans had arrived in Cucuta.

Mr.Venezuelan ambassador and scarit, tell us whether this is true or false? Is it a picture of Mexican entering the United States of America, posted by the American government? You all must face the reality of the wickedness you have sown! A country with one of the largest oil reserves, has allowed itself to get in this situation, due to its back socialist policies! This is what happens to a government’s bad economic policy of handouts instead of creating employment and putting people to work,by diversifying in investments that will create wealth with the oil money. This is what countries like the UAE and Saudi Arabia is doing, they are importing sand and creating beaches, then build hotels to attract people from around the world! Dumb-in-ica is on the same road as Venezuela with scarit the illegal rogue prime mistake!!!

But wait nuh, I thought that elements in the Delusional Labour Party (DLP) and the Venezuelan ambassador to Dominica said that things are not as bad as they seem in Venezuela.

Well if dis situation ain’t bad and dire as it seems, then I want to know what is.

this is the age of internet and instant communication. To somehow suggest that the plight of Venezuelans trying to feed them selves is Western propaganda is totally insane. Chavez and Maduro have systematically destroyed the country. Communism has never worked and his good friend Rarul Castro is running away from the system like china and the others. The boarder should have been opened a long time ago and restrictions on trade with Aruba must end.

    • Oh!

Sir Knight; Indian Dr. of nothing Mr. Mountain Chicken Carpaud (Crapo) Mentality Roosevelt M. Skerrit, little Dominica god; and dictator, how come you are allowing the people of Venezuela to suffer so much hunger, so much so they have to walk into another country to buy food!

Sir, Knight how come your foreign policy cannot at this time contribute anything to your communist friend and country Venezuela? How come you have not contributed one finger of your Dominica genitally altered bananas to feed your friends?

Are you reserving them all to feed your Dominica children as you claim you feed thousand per year.

Mr. Crapo Mountain Chicken Prime Minister Sir Knight Lord Doctor god Roosevelt Skerrit when the economy of Dominica collapsed as Venezuela, and the genetically altered bananas begins to poison people when eaten; where will they walk to in order to buy food?

I suppose Bird island is not too far away oui!

      Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

A policy of giving handouts and making the people poor just to stay in power has severely backfired on Venezuela…Skerrit has adopted the same model here in Dominica…There are glaring signs that the same will happen to Dominicans!

        Thanks the fly,
I am telling U that it will happen much sooner than U think Proverbs 15″3 says and I quote “the eyes of the LORD are in every place beholding the evil and the good
What happen to the 2 senior citizen on CHRISTMAS MORNING 2010, U think the most high did not see who did it, all the mischief which U all have done to the opposition supporters, the most high sees it as well, all the $m of Dollars belonging to D/ca you all took to build Villars etc. u think all that will go unnoticed who ever is the culprit will pay for it sooner or later
        good luck ma Dominique children!
