Trinidadians see miracle in ‘Bleeding Eucharist’

TRINIDAD – Prayers filled the Rock River Roman Catholic Primary School, Moruga, yesterday as scores of Roman Catholics flocked to the school compound to view what has been described as an “Eucharistic Miracle”.

Teachers, students and villagers, who flocked to the school, fell on their knees in prayer after a red substance, resembling blood, began dripping from a wood carving of the Holy Eucharist.

Within hours, a puddle of red liquid had formed at the base of the chalice.

The Bible says in the last days people will “..turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” (2 Timothy 4:4) This has happened in Moruga.

The communion service is not a sacrifice since the Word of God clearly states “…there is no more offering for sins.” (Hebrews 10:18) This is because Jesus Christ on the cross, in the final moments of His natural life, cried, “…It is finished; …” (John 19:30) meaning the price was paid in full for our redemption.

That sacrifice was so perfect it never had to be repeated. The Bible says “…we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” (Hebrews 10:10)

It was so perfect no other sacrifice was ever necessary. The Word of God tells us “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God:” (Hebrews 10:12)

The communion service is intended to remind us of the great price the Savior paid for us. Jesus said “….this do in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19) The bread represents His body. The wine represents His blood. The Savior was using symbolic language when He said “This is my body. This is my blood”. It was like when He said “I am the door.” (John 10:9) Nobody believes Jesus thought He was literally a door.

Thre is no blood in the communion wafer. There is no blood in the communion cup. There was nothing there that could bleed! The Bible declares “…Christ was once offered to bare the sins of many…” (Hebrews 9:28) When that precious blood was shed once – for all time – the claims of Divine justice were met.

Compare the “Bleeding Eucharist” to the miracles in the New Testament performed by Christ. Water was turned into wine. Bread and fish were multiplied. Demons were cast out. The sick were healed. The dead were raised. True miracles were always for a purpose. They met needs and helped people.

When people refuse to believe the plain teachings of the Bible they leave themselves open to the deception of the devil. I was in Toronto back in the 1970’s when a statue of an animal god in a Hindu Temple was said to be receiving offerings of milk. People would hold a big spoon of milk to its mouth and it would drink it down! Crowds of people from a distance gathered to see the miracle. The police investigated. They were left standing in bewilderment. An investigative reporter from a big Toronto newspaper went determined to expose the fraud. The next day I read his report. He summed up his visit with these words. “I know what I saw.” Then in the days that followed we read that similar things were happening in Hindu temples in various parts of he world. The devil is a liar and a deceiver. He will use all his satanic power to make people believe in a false religious system contrary to what the Word of God says. Jesus Himself warned us that this would happen before His return in Matthew 24:24. The Apostle Paul also said in the last days satan would use signs and lying wonders to deceive the people in 2 Thessalonians 2:9,10.

I encourage you to read the Bible. Believe it! Base you faith upon the Word of God. It is important to trust the Holy Scriptures and nothing but the Holy Scriptures especially when it comes to knowing the way of salvation. They were written so we can KNOW we are going to heaven. Check out 1 John 5:11-13! Romans 4:5, Romans 5:1, and Ephesians 2:8,9!

Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Pentecostal Evangelist.

The sacrifice of Christ’s death upon the cross was so perfect it never needed to be repeated. (Hebrews 10:10) It was so complete no other sacrifice would ever be necessary. (Hebrews 10:12)

Those who trust Christ – and receive Him – as their personal Savior are purged from their sins. (Hebrews 1:3) God Himself promises never to remember their sins. (Hebrews 10:17) Because of this there is now no more sacrifice for sins. (Hebrews 10:18)

The communion service is not a sacrifice. It is intended to remind us of the geat price the Savior paid for our redemption. Jesus said “…This do in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19) When He said “This is my body… This is my blood…” He was using symbolic language. It was like when He said “I am the door…” (John 10:9) Nobody thought Jesus meant He was a literal door. Because the bread and the wine in the communion are symbolic there is nothing in the eucharist to bleed. There is no place for blood to come from unless it was placed there by somebody.

It grieves me to know that there are people whose faith requires this kind of a “sign”. Our faith is based upon the Word of God. St. Paul said “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17) GOD SAID IT. I BELIEVE IT. THAT SETTLES IT. These precious people must suffer much from fear and uncertainty, especially in the latter years of their lives.

When I read this story I remembered several manifestations of satanic power in Dominica when evil spirits invaded schools. If I remember correctly Trinidad had a similar “visitation”.

The devil uses his power to make people fearful or believe lies and he is capable of performing miracles to mislead people. Paul warned us that satan uses “…all power and signs and LYING wonders…” to deceive those who “…received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (2 Thessalonians 2:9,10)

Let your faith be in the risen Christ and the Word of God. Read the Bible. Begin with John’s Gospel. Let the light of scripture dispel the darkness and superstition.

I invite you to visit my website http://www.livinghopeministries.ca and click onto the EAGLE COURSE. This 12 Lesson Wookbook Manual can be studied from the screen OR copied absolutely free. The first lesson will explain how you can receive Christ as your Savior. You can KNOW you are saved an going to heaven based upon the clear teaching of the Word of God.

It’s true we need to stop bashing one another. I didn’t intend to offend, was just my opinion. All these different religions only seem to divide us. At the end of the day we are all Christians aren’t we? Don’t put your faith in man or the church but in the Almighty. Love is the answer Peace

Well stated! Liza has stated on this Website that she was once a Catholic. This is what occurs to those who have renounced their Catholic Faith. They become enemies of the Catholic Church in a worst way.
What they also do not realize is that when the Priest said, “I baptize you in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” God blest this baptism from on high -Heaven and there is not one person on earth who can annul this baptism. They are Catholics for life and unto eternity, whether Heaven or Hell. They could go from religion to religion as those pastors baptize them in those churches but they will always remain a Catholic.

      You are the silly one.

I never said I was messed up. I perceive that you will never come alive in Love and to know the ecstasy of Love, that is of Jesus Christ, the way I do.

I give God praise for the day He removed me from the dead teachings of the Catholic Church

I have more peace and joy in than the whole world of Roman Catholics put together; because they do not know where joy and peace come from–how can they receive. Hope for yourself, and not for me.

You think that you are an expert? You are absolutely not one and know nothing about this Miracle. If you are not a practicing Catholic who is well-versed in Catholicism and such Miracles which have taken place down through the ages, we do not expect you to know and state any better.
As a Catholic author, writer and director of movies stated in previous years, “For those who understand no explanation is necessary. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.”
There are many such sayings by wise people which could be attributed to you, an unbeliever and those who do not believe. Here is another one:

I do not seek to understand that I may believe, but I believe in order to understand. For this I believe–that unless I believe, I should not understand.

Thanks to God, I only have a son, who was baptized at the age of 11 years–the Catholic Church do this to a baby, who does not even know he/she exist. Ayelass!

My Son does not know anything about Catholics, much more for Catholic School–but he knows that he is a Christian–who is going to spend Eternity in Paradise, just like his mother. That was what he told me some years ago.

Can you or your daugher say that as the proud catholic that you claim to be–otherwise, you are in for a tragic surprise wee!

By the way what is your point?

Job, the man in the Bible was proud too. Unfortunately that nature of pride provoked God Almighty to allow Satan time in his Life, which took 40 years to train and discipline in the ways of God. Good luck!

        @ Liza Xavier

YOU ARE NOT FOR JESUS! YOU DO NOT LOVE JESUS! If you were and did you would not be making such a statement. Many of you deceive yourselves otherwise, thinking that God gave you a mandate to criticize the Catholic Church. Little do you know that you are performing the work of the devil and not of God.
What did the Catholic Church do to your baby? What do you know about God and what is contained in Holy Scripture? Which is the first Church that got the Holy Bible and others stole it and are now preaching against this Church?
Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “Let the little children come to Me and do not prevent them…”
It is the duty of parents to baptize their children as soon as possible. Only foolish ones and those who are not sincere Christians and are also not well-conversant with what Our Lord said will not baptize their child/children as soon as they are born.
Children are born with “their parents original sin” and some out of wedlock. It is therefore the obligation of the Church and the parents that those children are baptized as soon as possible. They also do this so that the Holy Spirit will enter into their soul, protect them and drive away Satan from them. Were you aware of that?
Liza, I fear for your soul. You are so presumptuous. In addition, judgmental. Our Lord said, “Judge not that you may not be judged accordingly and twofold.”
Your son said this and that and he will go to paradise? DO NOT MAKE ME LAUGH which is what I am doing. Can anyone say, for certain, that they will go to Heaven and directly so walking in with swinging hands and others will not go?
Here is what is contained in Holy Scriptures, you ignorant and unloving person:
1 Corinthians 10:12 – Warning against Overconfidence – …Therefore, whoever thinks he is standing secure should take care not to fall.
You left the Catholic Church because you knew nothing about it and did not make it your mortal and spiritual business to learn more about it. There is more to Catholicism than meets the eye. God will hold you accountable for your ignorance. He established ONE CHURCH and not several churches of different denominations. People like you, a baptized Catholic, once a practicing one who attack Catholics for their faith contribute to lack of love, peace and unity among others and in the world. It is also stated in the Holy Bible that there will be false prophets and you are one of them.
2 Corinthians 7:2 – Make room for us; we have not wronged anyone, or ruined anyone, or taken advantage of anyone.
You surely need to pray to God to enlighten you lest you perish in your sins and mortal and spiritual ignorance.
Hebrews 12:14 – Penalties of Disobedience – Strive for peace with everyone, and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
A convert to Catholicism wrote a book which is entitled: “The Catholic Church Has The Answers.” YOU DON’T!
Galatians 5:7:8 – Be Not Misled – You were running well, who hindered you from following the truth? that enticement does not come from The One who called you. A little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough.”
Galatians 5:14:15 – …For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you go on biting and devouring one another, beware that you are not consumed by one another.
There is a lot in Holy Scriptures which could describe you and used to refute you and people like you.

So am I. Is this not something? They hate the Catholic Church, Its Doctrines and devotions and any chance they get they will criticize It. Yet they send their children to Catholic schools. They want the best education for their child or children. It goes to show that there is really something good about the Catholic Church and Its schools.
If I hate a Church/religion so much I would not dare send my child to that school. It shows that they want something good for their children but refuse to practice the Catholic faith as they lambaste it. They are a bunch of hypocrites with unloving hearts. God is noticing them and what is imbedded in their hearts.

God gave every one a mind of his/her own. People have a right to believe and are free to believe what they want to believe, be it for good or bad. No one must deny them this God-given privilege.
One way or the other, people reap the benefits or the consequences of their actions.
Know that there is only one right as there is only one way to the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ and to Heaven. He is sending His miracles as proof that He exists and that He established One Church and that He approves this Church. Miracles lead people closer to Him in worship and prayer and some people deny them. Is this not sad? How it also saddens Our Lord.
On the inevitable day, when all will be called to their eternal judgment as it is for now, one by one, these deniers will be sorry that they did not believe then.

Not only Catholics worldwide who are seeing these things. It should not surprise you that those who practice the Catholic faith are more attuned to them than those who do not practice the faith. It may happen to them but due to their unbelieving ways, they do not recognize them and if they did they may deny them.
Our Lord has appeared to non-Catholics alike who converted in time. As an example consider Saul named Paul and others. It is in the Holy Bible!

  19. December 3, 2011

    Well what was the miracle?

What is it about this mysterious stain, of whatever it is, that makes people think about miracle, in reference to a Holy God of Spirit?

Did a blind man see? Did a lame man walk? Was a person of cancer healed? Was someone with an evil spirit exorcised? What was the miracle, because of this mysterious stain?

“I truly believe that this is a sign for us in Moruga to have faith”–what a foolish statement!

For people to believe that after over 2000 years, Jesus must still show them signs to maintain faith, and through such weakness like a stain of blood of whatever it is–well they are in for a tragic surprise, wee!

“Jesus is showing us His power in this way” In what way? By leaving a so-called blood stain that is simply baffling?

Why ridicule my God like this? The apostle Paul tells us that “God will bless us with Power like the Power that raised Jesus from the dead”. Ephesians 1:19

Is someone trying to tell me that a stupid bit of red stain is a sign of power from this Great God whom I know by my faith and His Holy Spirit in me? Are they crazy out there?

Well the apostle Paul tells us again that “God has made known to us the mystery of His Will for those whom He has chosen,” okay! Ephesians 1:9

And God’s Will–His plan for His chosen people–is that we become reconciled to Him in Spirit and Truth, Him dealing with us–at that time– by our channel of faith.

The apostle Paul again, reminds us: “To walk by faith and not by sight” 2n Corinthians 5: 7

The Book of Hebrews tell us that “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11: 1

But most importantly we are taught that “Without faith it is impossible to please God” Hebrews 11: 6

Hence God of Spirit and our relationship with Him has everything to do with faith, because God is not of flesh and blood!

Dear God, when will the Roman Catholic Church come to realize that You want people in an intimate Love relationship with You by their faith and with a mind of Love in Spirit and Truth?

When will the Roman Catholic Church stop worshiping idols–always needing to see something physical–made by human hands, throughout what they believe is worship to You, dear God–but in truth they are worshiping idols or and man-made gods!

The message of Life, which God wants us to live in Spirit and Truth–speaks nothing about Mary, except that she was a young virgin, whom God had predestine to do the work that He did through her.

Why is the Roman Catholic Church worshipping Mary–worst again as a statue? What can this statue do for the Salvation of those people.

Jesus told the Samaritan woman that He spoke with at the Well: “The hour is coming, and is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth” John 4:23–24

God wanting His people to worship Him in Spirit and Truth, by their faith, guided and taught by His Holy Spirit, He would be delighted to know that in 2011, His chosen people know Him and His ways of Love–Life, the Light of Jesus Christ in them.

I suggest that part of Trinidad get rid of the abomination of mysterious blood stain out of their minds before it further destroys them.

It is so typical of those of you who just listen to pastors and have no idea of the Catholic faith. Which catholic that is WORSHIPING Mary. No catholic worships Mary, we respect her and acknowledge her as the mother of Christ and just as with Jesus’ first miracle at the wedding in Cana the family went through Mary to Jesus for the wine we believe that she can also intercede for us in the same way but we do not worship her.

Don’t you have photographs at your home? don’t you look at them and sometimes in times of need when you wished someone you could talk to was near when you look at the photograph don’t you sometimes say ‘if only you were there you would help or I would be able to talk to you’. Are you worshiping the photograph?? A statue and that’s all it is is just a work of art to capture an image like a photograph and the same way u keep your photographs nothing is wrong in having the statues. Like I said, you have no idea of the Catholic faith so stop repeating what you hear others say and go investigate for yourself.

And remember, the Catholic faith was the first as Peter the rock was our first Pope and if you believe in the works of Jesus Christ then when he said to Peter unto you the rock I build my church you would never think that the church Jesus himself built should be questionable. That is what has happened over the years doubt and everyone breaks out what does that say? I would like to know?

Miracles do happen and we must always give thanks for the wonderful works of the Lord instead of always doubting like Thomas; But again, that is what happens when you do not believe in the universal church which was created by jesus himself. May God give you the gift or discernment to see the truth.

      • December 4, 2011

        @ believer

Nice name! But what is it that you believe? Don’t you know that basis of worship to God Almighty is prayer through speaking and singing?

If you are a Catholic are you claiming that you do not pray to Mary and sing songs to Mary. Or perhaps you do not pray at all and you never attend worship.

Well I was raised in the Catholic Church. My siblings, and I was beaten by my mother and father every morning and night because we could not remember the words of recitation like “Hail Mary of mother of God”–bla bla bla!

What about the Rosary–what the words that you are reciting so many times as you roll those shinny balls.

You claim to be a believer didn’t you. If you are real, you cannot tell me that you do not do those things–for they are Roman Catholic things, the church which you declared Jesus created.

Yeah! Jesus, who told us: “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father, except through Me”. John 14:6 Why do you think you need the statue of Mary in your church house, to connect to the Father through Jesus? Ayelass! Ayelass!

I can still hear my grandmother reciting every 15 to 20 minutes of the day, while I was growing up, the recitation that says: “Oh Mary conceived without sin pray for us” bla bla bla.

How can a dead person pray for a person who is existing in this world. Does that make any sense to you. Or do you believe Mary is alive? If so why the statue of her at your church?

But God is Love, full of mercy and compassion. He will have pity upon you guys.

And one more thing! Read the two Books of Peter in the Holy Bible. Tell me if you find anything about Mary in those two books. They are called 1st Peter, and 2nd Peter. Right after the Book of James, and before the Books of 1st. 2nd. and 3rd. John.

I do not listen to pastors–the are human beings like myself. God’s Holy Spirit is my only Teacher. He removed me from the dead teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, so that I would listen to Him.

I have no regrets. For God Almighty has given me Life, but it is not I that live, but Jesus Christ, who lives in me. Amen!

Very interesting response to my response but like I said she interceded for us so we pray to her but remember what you said in your first comment. The last time I checked there was a difference between worshiping and praying to. Please decide which one you want to emphasise on because you do not seem to know the difference. I am amazed that you were raised in the Catholic church but remember there is a difference with going to church on Sunday because you are forced to and not knowing anything about the faith and learning about the faith. Many people go to church and know nothing about the faith. They go because they have to. I believe strongly in Jesus Christ and the great love athat he has shared with us. I also believe in his word and hope that you do to.

      God Bless You

      • December 6, 2011

        @Believer

Since you believe that there is a difference between worship and prayer, what else do I have to say to you?

Again, I will tell you that I grew up in the Catholic Church, and I know that the people in the church sing songs about Mary. They recite words like prayer to her.

You admit that you pray to her in last response. But in your first response you said that you do not worship her.

I fully understand that praying and singing to God, is worship to Him…that is why we identify a song book of the church as “songs of worship”. In a church we call for worship through prayer. Worship through the preaching of God’s Word.

So your singing in church is not worship, neither is your praying. Because you do both of those things to Mary in the church, and yet you claim not to worship her. What is worship to you?

The truth is that you are not qualified to talk with me about God and His Ways–I do not even know why I am wasting my time with you.

      Liz: I agree with you.

When people refuse the clear truth in the Bible – the Word of God – they are in the darkness. The devil takes advantage of their foolish ignorance and provides them with false miracles to further prepare them for even more lies to come.

This kind of “religious” activity fosters superstition that creates demonic manifestations that are mistaken for paranormal activity. Then new reporters come in to write their stories about the strange happenings. Finally, books get written about the weird goings on.

The history of the Catholic Church is filled with such stories that are suppose to prove to the uneducated and gullible that God is among them.

What is needed is the clear preaching of the gospel that changes people’s lives followed by sound Balanced Bible teaching.

I love the scripture verses you write in your comments. Good stuff!

Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Pentecostal Evangelist?

This is sheer foolishness. And how long will you people believe that the world is coming to an end? It is the European systems that’s coming to an end. This social system must come to an end so that Africa can rise again.

it doesnt matter when the world is going to end or if the world is going to end… we should all live our lives in accordance to God, love and respect each other and the Lord and stop hating and bashing the name of God.

It appears that it was not meant to be. God had a plan and this is what occurred, through their disobedience. The majority of people of today are still acting in disobedience although they should know better. God is testing us, our faith and perseverance. It shows that Heaven will not be attained otherwise. Wished some of you were intelligent enough to deduce this.

Also Dominicans and the rest of the world; all those who reject Him and will not pay Him homage. His Sacred Heart is bleeding to see the slippery slopes that some members of humanity are going down and will end up in Satan’s cauldron of everlasting fire. A few are homosexuality and so-called same sex marriage, an abomination to the Lord. Abortions and euthanasia, all offend Our Lord. Those who aid and practice them will pay the price as Our Lord looks on patiently.
As St. Paul stated in the New Testament, “Examine yourself to see whether you are living in faith…”

The so called believers of the faith on this forum should know better than to rush and put God’s name in every maji.

1 John 4 v 1 says, ‘Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm……………For they are the spirit of devils working miracles. To the law and to the testimony if they speak not according to these words its because there is no light in them.(Isiah 8:20)And indeed Jesus is coming soon do not know when but if you read Matthew 24 and compare it to whats happening on earth u just have to believe it to be true. The truth is when we die he has come and now is the only time we have to prepare for His coming. In times of ignorance God winked but now He calls on everyone to repent, so if we die before He comes we can be ready .

miracle or prank, the question is are you ready for the return? Proud to be a Believer, not a religious person

    • Justice and Truth
      December 6, 2011

      @ G

Believers are religious people. Know that you cannot be a believer and not a religious person. Therefore, what type of believer are you? A believer who does not go to church or one who goes to church? There are some people who state that they believe and this is all they do, to believe; not good enough where God is concerned. They greatly err due to their ignorance. Some will say, I read my Bible but I do not go to church or I have a personal relationship with God but do not go to church. You cannot be one way and not the other.
I shake my head at some of your remarks especially yours who appear not to know the difference or the identical meaning. I attribute this to the false prophets and false teachings of our era. Look up the word “religious” and “religion” in the dictionary. It will give you a detailed meaning of those words.

People who believe nonsense like this really think God is petty and small, to waste time on little magic tricks. The Creator of everything from atoms to galaxies is going to show Himself through a small puddle of liquid? Because God had nothing better to do, apparently.

      December 2, 2011

the acts of God can be beyond human comprehension… indeed the Lord will use the most ‘innocent’ occurence to display his power… i’m guessing if a a cloud was to suddenly begin speaking then u’d believe?? well the thing is it may not occur so obvious.. let the little drop of blood challenge your faith

      • Man in Dominica
        December 2, 2011

I’m afraid you misunderstand. If we believe God created the Earth, the Sun, the stars, life itself, then everything around us is a display of His power. The Sun rises and sets, a child is born, the birds fly, the stars shine at night–that’s all God’s power. So now a puddle of liquid appears, and you say “Oh, THERE is God!” Because you didn’t see Him anywhere else?

      @ Man in Dominica

Your mind/brains are petty including yourself to make such a statement and judgment. Were you ever a Catholic Christian?
Some of you lack basic common sense. It is because your mind is so small that it cannot see and think beyond.
It is God’s world. God can come to you a non-believer and a little puddle in His eyes which is just what you are. You should know that He is God and He can do whatever He wants; send any sort of miracles (including fire and brimstones when He is good and ready); appear anywhere He so wishes.
By the way, have you seen the movie “O God 1”? Try and get it and look at it. This movie, as comical as it is made good sense. I enjoyed viewing it. In fact it was also shown on TV and I taped it. There is also “O God 11.” Think God and what He can do any and everywhere!

Indeed! This is what He did for our salvation. He said: “Do this in memory of Me.” The Catholic Church was given this mandate by God. This is what It is doing throughout the world. Some people are jealous. They do not realize that they are spurred on by the enemy of God and of our souls, the father of lies, when they deny and reject this Miracle.

The world is going to end soon? People keep thinking they know when the world’s going to end, ever since the days of Christ, and they’ve been wrong for two thousand years. How long will you wait for that to happen before you decide that you’re wrong and that you don’t actually know that the world’s going to end soon?

    • Pappy
      December 2, 2011

Don’t you people EVER get tired of saying the world is going to end? They thought the world was ending 2,000 years ago when the bible was written, and nothing has happened yet. And yet you STILL want to write this crap?

      Embarrassment!

    • Man in Dominica
      December 2, 2011

People should live their lives both as if today is their last day so that we live as good as we can NOW because we may not have a chance tomorrow, AND as if the world will continue so that we care about the world we leave our children and grandchildren. Hoping for the End Times seems like a bad attitude to me, like you’re hoping to be relieved of your responsibilities here to the world, especially since you can’t know when it’s coming. “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven…” Matthew 24:36

After recess, he said, he returned to class and noticed something was different with the Eucharist.
