Trinidad – President of the Coalition Advocating for Inclusion of Sexual Orientation (CAISO), Colin Robinson, says Jamaican Prime Minister-designate Portia Simpson-Miller did the right thing by stating quite clearly that she opposed the discrimination against homosexuals.
Simpson-Miller led the People’s National Party (PNP) into victory in Thursday’s general elections in Jamaica.
The country with a population of 2.8 million people has developed a worldwide reputation for its strong anti-homosexual views and acts of violence against homosexuals.
Lots of respect to this politician! Finally someone with a proper and realistic veiw.
Give us another 30 years and the discussion will no longer be about recognizing same-sex union. I bet you! It will have gone way past that. We’ll be talking about people and their pets. You wait.

The very vocal anti-gay people are actually in the minority.
Minority or not they are using the stategy of the gay movement in the US, taking it to politicians and media and putting their people in high places by whatever means, using their votes etc… they ain’t playing around. They have also even reached some politicians you know locally, and it is on.
They only way to survive them is to adopt the same strategy, it’s highly political.
Their taking it to politics got it’s start when one of their most admired gay groups MLBA(men-love-boy assoc.) was denied right to hold a meeting in a public library in the early 90s in the US, where they were planning to influence politicians to lower the age of consent of tender juicy young boys in one of the states, from 14 yrs to 12 yrs old. Since then they have bumped up their presence and influence by major strides. It is on, what’s your strategy to conteract it.
How is a pedophile organization related in any way to adults consenting to sexual intercourse? I sometimes really wonder about the brains of people on here. Is it really that hard to understand that two consenting adults is not the same as an adult and a child, an adult and another species of animal, an adult and a corpse, etc, since those are the things people like to say we should legalize next if gays get rights? I am truly sad for you if you think that pedophilia, bestiality, necrophilia, etc. are equivalent to hetero- or homosexual intercourse between consenting adults.
And if you have kids and one is gay or transgendered, believe you me, you will notice it from young. It has nothing to do with anyone choosing anything. I did not “choose” to be heterosexual; I was just always attracted to the opposite sex, even as a child (though without the attraction having sexual aspects as a child, of course). So, you people need to give up these false arguments about it being a choice and it being equal to absurd things like pedophilia. You are being intellectually dishonest to make such arguments.
@Humanist – Sodomy and intercourse are two completely different things. Being effeminate, and choosing to sodomizing another man are also different things. Some men are born effeminate and go on to have proper relationship with opposite sex and raise successful families, but is only when they ‘choose’ to bogar they go on to declare themselves ‘gay’. Learned behavior. I will not touch on transgendered by birth (colay femele which I sympathise with)as many don’t totally understand it, but I think it’s real.
