CARACAS, Venezuela, CMC – President Hugo Chavez announced Sunday that there would be new humanitarian brigades going to Haiti soon to help that country, shaken by last Tuesday’s magnitude-7.3 earthquake.
“Venezuela is at Haiti’s disposal. There are already two humanitarian brigades in the land of Alexander Petion and others will leave Venezuela soon,” Chavez said.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez ordered the immediate deployment of the aid team on Tuesday comprised of doctors, engineers, search and rescue specialists, and civil protection officers, as well as urgently needed food, water, medical supplies, and rescue equipment. well I’m not anticipating any war or anything like that. I just wanna know if Venezuela will get denied access to land like other countries were denied. Or If despite the 2 countries tensions, the US will allow venezuela to land and help in the relief effort.
