Sixteen young Dominican Catholics will be leaving Dominica on Wednesday to attend World Youth Day (WYD) in Rio de Janerio, Brazil.
The group will be led by the Bishop of the Diocese of Roseau, Gabriel Malzaire.
They will joining over a million young people from across the globe who are expected to participate in the event.
Their journey will begin with a Missionary Week in the Diocese of Guarulhos, Sao Paulo, where they will get the opportunity to experience the faith of the local people and share a little Dominican culture.
From July 22-28, they will travel to Rio to participate in the official World Youth Day activities which include events presided over by Pope Francis.
The theme of WYD Rio 2013 is: “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Mt 28: 19).
“It is a call for young people of the world respond to the missionary call, living as witnesses of the Risen Christ,” a press release from the group stated. “It motivates each pilgrim to let the light of the Risen Christ breakthrough the darkness of fear and doubts that paralyze so many young people. It encourages them to be missionaries even in situations of conflict and within a secularized world that does not want to live Christian values.”
The Dominican contingent consists of young adults from various parishes of Dominica.
They have been preparing for many months for the trip.
@ Blessed and O.O I read your comments after I had posted mine. This person has a severe mortal and spiritual problem and is always bashing the Catholic Church. It is people like her who cause me to comment and at length. The length of my writing is thanks be to God.
This person renounced the Catholic Faith and now has turned It’s enemy. Every time I comment on this Website, this person has to contradict me as if she knows more than I do or that she is more versed than the Catholic Church. It is a habit which I hope does not continue. Types like that who spoil it for others. I do think that this person is frustrated and just cannot keep quiet; probably has a mental problem.
I did not attack her; I did not criticize her; I did not mention her name but she felt she had to write all this long charade. What is she trying to prove? She is proving nothing and will never prove anything.
I have told her she is wasting her time. DNO will have to stop her. She just cannot stand hearing anything good about the Catholic Church. There is no doubt in my mind that the devil has possessed her mind and soul. Her quoting from the Bible is hypocritical. I do not even read her writing and will not waste my God-given precious time to read them. I write from my heart based on my underestanding and that of my (our) Catholic Faith. I stand by my word. I hope this is the last time she ever responds to my writing on Catholic matters. She is showing her envy of the Catholic Church. My plan, with the help of God, is to write a book accordingly. The Holy Spirit guides me what to do and say. Thanks be to God.

At every news article on DNO which you read, you have the most comments than everyone else put together, and you complaining about one comment of mine to yours.
Are you not the same person is condemning that “Willie” person on the other news article–who is a Roman Catholic as well?
Don’t expect me to stop my objections, because I am being guided by God’s “Holy Spirit” and whenever He calls me to rebuke the word of falseness, I most certainly will obey–whether you like it or not.
You know very well that I am speaking the “Truth” against your falseness–why don’t acknowledge and to clear up your mind–it will do you a lot of good.
You have a zeal for the teachings of your Church–which is based on religion, not love for the Living God in Jesus Christ, because you have no testimony of Him as your personal Savior.
Paul was the same, with the zeal for his Jewish religion–not God Himself, that is the reason Jesus chose him–but not without suffering on His behalf.
The same can happen for you; but then you would have to be predestined by God, I doubt that He has chosen you for anything in Life–poor you!
DNO gives every one a fair chance to comment. However, there are some who specifically use this Website to bash and lambaste the Catholic Church of all, for what it has not done to them. Therefore, since they take it upon themselves to criticize, bash and lambaste my Catholic Faith and Devotions in Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church of which I am a baptized practicing member, it is for this reason I have no alternative but to respond to them.
I take my Faith and Church seriously. I do not make up a story. I state the truth, exactly as it is.
If they knew what is contained in Holy Scripture and the meaning of it they should practice what Our Lord taught us.
The Golden Rule: Matthew 7:12 – Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and the prophets.
Why do they not practice it? Why are they lambasting the Catholic Church. Do they not realize that God will punish them for that?
It is better to do good rather than evil. Whatever I state, it pertains to the Word of God and matters of my Catholic Faith, what Our Lord revealed and gave to His Church namely, the Catholic Church. We are one billion strong all over the world. No matter what befalls this Church, Our Lord has promised that He will be with His Church until the end of time and “will not leave us orphans.”
The Pope, Bishops, Clergy and the laity did not establish the Catholic Church. One or two men did not establish it. Our Lord Jesus Christ established it when he was on earth, when He said to Simon Peter:
Matthew 16:18-19: You are Peter, and upon this Rock I will build My Church and the gates of the netherworld (Hell) shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.
Our Lord Jesus Christ established his One Church which will lead souls to him and assist them to obtain eternal salvation, this is the Church which will remain until the end of time. All others that He did not establish will be defunct in time.
Anything that the Lord did not establish/build will be destroyed. He knows where the souls of those who caused divisions in the Catholic Church, who left it, formed their own church and encouraged others to leave it are in eternity. He knows those who are still alive where their souls will go to when they die. Wait and see. This may take a long time but it will happen in God’s time.
Romans 8:28/31 – God’s Indomitable Love – We know that all things work for good for those who love who are called according to his purpose… If God is for us who can be against us?
2 Corinthians 11: 7 – Whoever is confident of belonging to Christ should consider that as he belongs to Christ, so do we.
For one, the Catholic Church was established by Our Lord Jesus Christ and two, The Catholic Church had the Holy Bible first.
We are not interested on how much they quote from the Bible and what they know. What I do know is that those who renounced their Catholic Faith should keep quiet about the Catholic Faith. They are not our friends. Their quoting from the Bible makes no difference and will never change our Catholic Faith, Doctrines and Devotions to Our Lord Jesus Christ. They are merely wasting their time which they should spend praying for Dominica and that God will eradicate the crimes which are committed in Dominica and for themselves. This is where they should expend their time, not concern themselves with the Catholic Church since they are enemies of the Catholic Church.
2 Thessalonians 1:1 -10 – It is surely just on God’s part to repay with affliction, those who are afflicting you and to grant rest along with us to you who are undergoing affliction, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven, with his mighty angels, in blazing fire inflicting punishment on those who do not acknowledge God, and on those who do not obey the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus. (1) Yes indeed! Not only me, but I am part of those people who have received the authority of interpretation to God’s word, for Jesus gave us this authority through His disciples: He said to us through them:
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore[c] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen Matthew 28: 18-20
(2) All Seminary of this world still provide the teachings of the human mind and its wisdom and understanding–that is no good for me.
I am in the “School” and will graduate through the teachings of God’s “Supernatural Influence” His name is “Holy Spirit” whom came to live in me 15 years ago, because of my faith in Jesus Christ. Is 15 years long enough for you? But He is still teaching me, as I said: I will graduate.
There is no human being who can surpass that kind of teaching which I am receiving from God Almighty through His Holy Spirit. And I can prove it to you, strait from God’s Word in the Bible, but why waist my time?
(3) If you call speaking about God Word and His Word haughtiness, then you know nothing about how to give Him the glory which He wants from those whom He has chosen for Himself–it must be that you are not one of us.
What is haughty is your stupid response to my message? I imagine that you are trying to tell the audience of DNO and myself that you attended some kind of Seminary–were you there for 15 years and counting?
But as I have already told you it means nothing as far as God is concerned–sorry but I am not interested in the teachings of the world

The Catholic Church had the Holy Bible first. We did not borrow it or take it from anyone. We know it better than our enemies.
God ordained that It should have had the Bible first and It did until some others left it to form their church and they took a copy with them, made copies and interpreted it to suit their mentality. They have nothing against the Church. The Catholic Church shows love to every one; not so its enemies as God knows too well.

What is your Theme for this World Youth Day? Do you know it? The Gospel Theme for the last WYD in Toronto was, “You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world.” The Chorus of the beautiful Hymn for that day which we occasionally sing in Church is based on it: “The light of the world, the salt of the earth; We scatter the darkness when love becomes our way. The light of the world, Christ is our light. We shine with his brightness, the reflection of his light from day to day!”
The prayer at the back of the bookmark which was given to everyone who attended that WYD in Toronto is: “God our Father, Your Son Jesus calls us to be salt of the earth and light for the world. Let the light of your justice shine in our lives, so that our words may season the world with the flavour of the Gospel, and our lives, be shining examples of Jesus who is the True Light. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen!”
Each WYD has a different theme and prayer, based on the Gospel and the Beliefs and Teachings of the Catholic Church.
When Our Lord Jesus Christ commenced his Ministry, He taught us about godliness, in words and deeds which we are obligated to practice as Christians, if we hope to love and serve him in this world and to be happy with him forever in Heaven. This entails living a godly, happy and peaceful life and to generate it to others. This should be depicted in our overall attitude including our comments on this Website. If we fail to practice it, woe to us! Sadly, some will never learn and for them I will say woe to them if they fail.
The following is in Chapter 5 as The Sermon on the Mount – The Beatitudes and others, one of which is:
Matthew 5:13-16 – The Similes of Salt and Light – You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket, it is set on a lampstand, where it gives the light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.
Luke 12:48 – Vigilant and Faithful Servants – Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more.
Matthew 22:34-40 – The Greatest Commandment – You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the First Commandment. The Second is like It: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The whole Law and the prophets depend on these two Commandments.”
We should not have this explained, emphasized and made explicit to us that if we do not obey, woe to us. In other words, watch our words and actions. Keep our minds Christian-like. Always think God and what will Jesus say – WWJS.

I had the opportunity of attending two World Youth Days in Toronto during the reign of the late, beatified, Blessed Pope John Paul II, soon to be canonized. It was none to compare then.
Pope Benedict XVI did not have the opportunity to visit Toronto for a WYD. We hope Pope Francis will do so in the near future. There is no doubt that we in Canada are looking forward to his visit. What a visit it should be! If the Good Lord wills.
God bless the Pope! God bless all those who will be attending this godly World Youth Day.
Not to be forgotten, Blessed (Pope) John Paul II who instituted this WYD. God saw that these youths (are people – Catholics too) and must be included in matters of the faith. They, too have a voice on condition it is in conformity with their Catholic religious beliefs, teachings and Doctrines. This is why He inspired Bl. John Paul II to institute WYD. It is working wonders in the Catholic youths around the world. Much more could be stated about that.

“The true centres of history are the quiet places where people go to pray. That is where the earthly world comes into particularly close contact with the supernatural world, the Church of pilgrimage on earth with the eternal and victorious Church of Heaven. There, far greater things are done and far more crucial decisions are made affecting life and death than in the world’s capitals where people think they have their finger on the pulse of time and turn the wheels of history.” Amen to that!

Why is this statement above necessary, may I ask?
I imagine that you have never read the Book of Revelation at chapters 2 and 3–otherwise you would have stopped making this fool of yourself as you speak through the production of that “carnal mind” condition of yours.
You keep speaking this stupid idea of yours that the “Catholic Church” is the only Church of Jesus Christ–as your people believe that Jesus had appointed “Peter” as the first “Pope”–there is no such information in the Bible.
Jesus simply declared that He would establish His Church by using the faith of those like Peter’s at Matthew 16: 18 as He said:
“I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this “rock” I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it”.
Without faith man cannot deal with God. The term “Rock” in that verse above is a metaphor for Peter’s faith, meaning extremely strong.
And faith is not the thing you are always talking about–in terms of your church–faith is the Spiritual Channel between God and those who believe in Him–for God is Spirit not of flesh and bones.
God uses that Spiritual Channel to feed His people through conscience and conscience feeds the “mind” as the mind prompts the soul to wake up from the sleep of death–the way a believer in God becomes alive in Jesus Christ.
Jesus also said: “Where two or three are gathered in My name I am in their midst–Matthew 18-20
Are you denying the Words of Jesus Himself, when you foolishly say that the Catholic Church is the only Church of Jesus Christ? Or are you claiming that God is only accepting people who belong to the Catholic Church?
Well when He called me back to Church in 1980, after many years from not following with the Catholic Church, where I was raised and was a devoted Christian there–I know that today, and it is not because I was in the Catholic Church; it was because God was working His plan for my Life from day one.
And so, He told me that He did not want me back in that Church–the Roman Catholic Church–today I fully understand why.
God used the Leaders of the Pentecostal Church to baptize me and to boost my faith, but He filled me with Holy Spirit at home–not in that Church.
Today I am an extremely strong Christian, with a Church Family and serving God to the fullest, as He has assigned me to do so; He could not have done this work through me, in the Catholic Church. For God’s work is different from good work, which is the work of “religion” as you have claimed you church to be–the Church of Religion
Religion is the reason I don’t care for the name of my Church denomination–I have Life in Jesus Christ, not in the name of my Church.
At the Book of Acts Luke wrote at chapter 11:26
“And the disciples were first called “Christians” in Antioch”–that is who I am; a disciple of Jesus Christ.

It is probably that you do not even know that the Church itself, is the people, and God sees them as His “Family” in different groups and with different names–just the same as the 12 Tribes of the 12 sons of Jacob, whom God later renamed Israel.
Hence the “Children of Israelite” of ancients days were God’s chosen people, they were His “Family Groups” of 12 sons-should I name the 12 sons for you?
However, today the children of God are all of those who have accepted His Son, who is also His Person of Love through flesh and bones, for God is Love in Spirit, Truth, and Righteousness. God will take back all those who will believe in His Son. whether they are Jews or Gentiles–black, white, red, yellow, or brown.
Here are the Churches that Jesus has been watching and which He will judge at the appointed time, it is all in the Book of Revelation at Chapters 2 and 3
Can you please tell us, who are non-Catholics on DNO, which one of the churches among the 7 is the Roman Catholic Church?
Also, do you have any idea why is Jesus judging 7 Churches if He only established one, as you are foolishly claiming? For each of those Churches there is something good and bad in Jesus’s opinion read it for yourself in the Bible, but here they are:

(3) The Compromising Church: the church in

My messages are based on the information from the Holy Bible, through the wisdom, understanding, insights, revelation or teachings of Holy Spirit who lives in me; yours is from human wisdom and philosophy–along with the production of your carnal mind.
I am not into any fight with no one–especially not on DNO–but God wants me to convey the Truth, which I receive about Him to the believers, whom He has chosen to do this work through me–you or no one here can stop Him.
The fact is that there is a mass number of people like you, who do nothing, but distort the “Truth if God” as God’s, enemy the devil, is doing his best to keep the minds of the innocent and the weaker ones in the bondage of lost and death–Satan uses you people to do that wicked work.
Jesus said to the believing Jews: “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the “Truth”, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8: 31-32
When Jesus told Pilate: “For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” Pilate as Him what is Truth? John 18: 37-38

“Freedom” that Jesus is offering to us, if they do not personally know Him and His Words in the Bible. Because of that lack of knowledge of God and His Words, He lamented through the Prophet Isaiah saying: This people honor Me with their lips but their heart is far from Me, and in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandment of men” Jesus repeated it in the Gospels Isaiah 29: 13; Matthew 15: 8
What is the meaning of the identification which you chose for DNO–since you know nothing about neither of those terms?
And one more thing! Your emotions are showing through those images that you leave with your response to us–as much as the words which you write does.
Those images are displaying your self sentiment of rudeness, anger, intolerance, and self conceit; I assure you that they do not prove “Love” in your heart–for they do not display the nature of Holy Spirit, neither would He allow you to chose them, if He was in you.
It is just too bad that you a;ways insert them right after you mention God or Jesus–is that the way you see them in your heart?
And so I am not the enemy, you should know who he is–that is the reason you will not even read my messages in the first place–He knows that you will read the “Truth” and to come to terms with God and His Love, in Jesus Christ–instead of fighting to preserve the name of your church, which is not mentioned in His message–the Word of Life in the Holy Bible.

First of all how can you say that “you hope I am a Pastor” and at the same time you try to correct my wisdom and understanding of God and His Word–are you the apostle Paul, whose theme is the concept of “faith” in the Bible? Or did you know that?
You have confused the difference between “bond and faith”, where God who is of Spirit is concerned; faith is the Spiritual Channel by which God pours out His Grace–the many blessings of Life, when we are bonded to Him in Love–the Life of our soul.
And so faith brings Life, and Hope presses on to the fullness of Life, but Love is the Life in us. With Love in us, we have every right to declare that God is in us–He wants to hear our testimony of the “Truth”
That is why the apostle Paul tells us that: “For by Grace you have been saved “through faith”, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2L 8-9
Through faith cannot mean anything else but a “channel” The Spiritual Channel by which we deal with God and Him with us.
This means that even praying can be a kind of work, for there are millions of people all over the world who pray without faith, hence there is no answer to their prayers.
Those are the people whom God says about them: These people honor Me with their lips but their heart is far from Me; and in vain they worship Me speaking as doctrines the commandments of men Isaiah 29: 13
I suggest that you people make sure that you have search God’s Words to know the Truth, before you object to my messages here, because I have full defense through Jesus Christ. I am not afraid to say that!
You have no power of critics against me; otherwise you would be critizing the Words of Holy Spirit in me.
