The three are being prayed over

Three young men professed the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience as members of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer or the Redemptorist, at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday.

Calvin Auguiste, from St. Joseph, professed the vows for life, while Gavin Blanc, also from St. Joseph, and Ako Walker from Trinidad professed them temporarily.

Auguiste additionally professed the vow of perseverance.

The ceremony was presided over by Fr. Kevin Moley, C.Ss.R, Superior of the Baltimore Province, which encompasses the Caribbean.

It was witnessed by a packed church.

See some photos below of the ceremony.

Genesis 2:24 Mathew 19:5, Ephesians 5:31: Did you people bypass these scriptural verses while studying “The Word” or did you all not see GENESIS 9:19 or GENESIS 1:1-31. The very first commandment in the Bible is be fruitful and multiply. hOW are you supposed to do that unmarried or taking a vow of chasity. CATHOLICS get out of these retuals and LIVE the word.. This is the cause of your denominations fall into the story of “San Francisco”
Or how can then a woman get a woman pregnant if the woman does not: Leviticus 18:22, 17, 23, 9, 19, 12.

Why then do you ALL profess to study theology yet continue to ritualise your ship into these nuiances.

This is my Take on this: I always get suspicious when I see young men go down this route, What are you running from? DNO I do not wish to affend just exppress my thoughts.

Frater Calvin Auguist! As you like to say: “Man come from Titiwi City!” The Angels in Heaven must be rejoicing that on the eve of your return from pilgrimage of walking in the “Footsteps of St Alphonsus” in Itali, Garvey Blanc, Ako Walker and yourself have decided to say yes, to followJesus the Christ in the Redemptorists Family. St Paul in Rom. 14: 17-19 says, “The Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating or drinking, but of Justice, peace, and the joy that is given by the Holy Spirit. Whoever serves Christ in this way pleases God and wins the esteem of men and women. Let us, then, make it our aim to work for peace and to strengthen one another”. We are looking forward to ministering with you as we make the option for the poor our prioity. Welcome! Welcome! My Brothers.

Congratulations on your Holy Priesthood! God bless each one of you and will of course be with you as you journey through your priesthood, serving him through your congregation and others along the way. You have his blessings and guidance.
May Our Lady who loves Her Priests who celebrate Her Blessed Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ’s Eucharist and prays for them cover you in her maternal mantle of love as she surrounds you and protects you.
The Prayer of St. Bernard who loved Our Lady as did many saints who have gone before us and like them had a deep devotion to her composed this prayer, no doubt, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit: This efficacious prayer is for you dear Fathers:

    The Memorare

Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, Our Mother, to thee do we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petition but in thy mercy hear and answer us. Amen!

God bless you always dear Fathers and keep you firm in your priestly vocation. Our Lord Jesus Christ loves His Priests!
The Blessed Trinity has blest you from on high and set His seal upon you forever.

Hebrews 7:17 – Melchizedek, a Type of Christ – You are a Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

May God shower his blessings upon these young men who have professed to serve Him all the days of their lives. May their light shine brightly, may they bring hope to the hopeless, strength to the weak, and courage to those who despair. You will remain in our prayers.

Congratulations!! I am so happy for you all, I pray for you all that you will continue being as happy as you are today. In a world where sin is on the rampage, and men do not know how to live holy lives, and everyone else thoughts is on material things, you have recognized that there is something better, a higher body, a force more powerful than what the world has to offer! May the good Lord guide and protect you always.
