Vatican: Pope’s butler arrested

The Pope's butler

The Vatican confirmed on Saturday that the pope’s butler has been arrested in its embarrassing leaks scandal, adding a Hollywood twist to a sordid tale of power struggles, intrigue and corruption in the highest levels of Catholic Church governance.

Paolo Gabriele, a layman and member of the papal household, was arrested Wednesday after secret documents were found in his Vatican City apartment and was continuing to be held Saturday, Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi said in a statement.

I would suggest that people read the book “In God’s Name” By David Yallop. The author writes in the beginning of the book that if his information is wrong then he will give all of the proceeds the book makes to the Church!! It is very well written and makes fascinating reading! A real eye opener. It is always left to the reader to decide what is truth and what is fiction!

They’re always singing about the Non-Catholic Churches but yet still so many things are happening in these catholic churches all over where people are blinded to these things.. What is done in the dark must come to light!

The Vatican is a very corrupt and evil entity. They practice the occult. Notice there is the white garb and the black garb.

This weekend to today it was broadcasted on the Toronto News. I expect that and more to come. The Media will not hesitate to broadcast and publish this news. Some of them even exaggerate about it. Anything to do with the Catholic Church makes news and too much of it. It could be another form of persecution of the Church which is prevalent in these times of atheism, agnostics, godlessness, immorality, the enemies of the Church including the fallen away Catholics, non-practicing ones and those who renounced their Catholic faith. There is also other sinfulness and wickedness of heart, mind, soul and mouth even through fingers on the computer keyboard. Some people act as if they are without sin. So much for them.
Our patient God is observing and taking note of the persecutors, some of whom cannot mind their business as they live an ungodly life including legislating, supporting, encouraging and applauding various immoralities which highly offend Him.
The world today is filled with increased sinfulness and more. Our Lord said, “When He returns will He find faith on earth” and “Ensure that we are on his right hand side.” May no one deceive themselves and think they are pleasing God by criticizing the Catholic Church, Its devotions and speaking evil about It. God knows they are without genuine love.
Having said that, it is like the statement, “The Butler did it.” As long as there are human beings in the world, there will always be crooks, deceivers, traitors and other sinfulness including those who will do anything to gain status and money even though they go to the extremity of bringing down another or other fellow people and causing loss of their job. Some of them use others to do their dirty work, thereby preserving themselves from prosecution. God knows who they are.
The Catholic Church also has enemies and spies who will infiltrate the Church right to the Vatican and think that they can expose them to the public. The devil is always rampant.
Everyone has some sort of sin in their life. I like to say, some, more so than others. This is why people must be careful and ensure that what they have heard and read was accurately published. Those who also hear and read ensure that they do not misinterpret it.
As for me, I will hear ‘the honest truth’ from the Catholic Radio and TV as EWTN. Know that they will not water down the truth but tell it like it is and not beat around the bush. They will give an excellent and truthful explanation that everyone, as members of the laity can comprehend.
As an adult, we hear too many things are occurring in the world that nothing surprises me. Therefore, I do not get excited and worked up about what I hear and read about even though I may comment about it, pro or con. I have past that stage a long time ago.
Whatever befalls the Catholic Church that is broadcasted through the Media, I give it all to God and let Him take care of it. This gives me much peace and tranquility. Other members should do likewise. Let the critics speak and criticize. It is a godly source of consolation that God takes care of all in time. Praise be to God.

Suppose Jesus comes back and he told you, that you and the Catholic church have got it all wrong, and some of the doctrines you adhere to are not those of Christ but those created by men what would you do? Read your bible eh, if you really believe in JUSTICE and TRUTH. I always feel sorry for people who are so deeply indoctrinated in any religion that they refuse to ask questions and to do any introspection. I believe in God, but I am of the view that many organised religions have got it wrong, and some christian churches not just the Catholic church, have corrupted the teachings of Christ and his disciples to suit their own agenda.

Any time you have church hierachy that is not answerable and transparent to the global congregation, them things bound to happen. Everybody know is inside that Vatican dat have scandal. Them catholics like to say the pope hierachy descended from St Peter, but I strongly doubt that Jesus or any of his disciples would pass on such a legacy of deception, secrecy and corruption. What is the purpose of de papacy and de so called infallible dogma? I am sure every catholic has access to a bible, in this day and age, is time for de church to reconnect to de people, as long as a corrupt Vatican state overseas the church, the reputation of the catholic church will continue to suffer.

Corruption in high places is commonplace these days. None is worthy of trust! Lust for power and greed are what drives this state of affairs.

This is fascinating. I read a book called “In God’s Name” Author David Yallop. The book was written about the death of Pope John Paul in 1978 October who was only pope for 30 days and it was alleged at the time the he was murdered in the Vatican cause of death poisoned by digitalis! The book was all about the corruption of the Vatican and how the monies tied up in the Roman Catholic Church through the Vatican was being invested in all the wrong places and that it was tied up to the Mafia! There were several deaths tied into this in the 90’s. It will be interesting to see what the outcome of this investigation is it could take a very long time!!

I read that book too and it pointed to lots of corruption and other crimes which are being covered up by the church well let us see where this leads too.
I guess Yallop is watching this one closely

      @ nature girl

I heard what caused the Pope’s death but is it true? We cannot confirm that. Therefore, some of it may be true and others may not be true. These days all sorts of people with all sorts of warped minds, even an axe to grind against the Catholic Church (not unusual in this age of the great apostasy and increasingly so and through envy) write books and according to their mentality. They doctor the information, i.e., fabricate stories to make them readable. Unless we, ourselves can prove that it is true, I like to keep an open mind on such matters.

What about yourself, your lifestyle, your actions in thoughts, words and deeds, your home and your soul? Have you ever given it a thought and look into your conscience or when last you did? Ask yourself what would God think and say about you? Judge not that you may not be judged accordingly and two-fold. Be careful of stones that you throw.
