Born and raised on the Caribbean island of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr. James comes from a family known for its devotion to the Christian faith. His father, the late Rev. Henry James, pastored in the village of Soufriere and then Roseau before migrating to the United States. His mother, Mrs. Ruth James was a well-known piano instructor in the 70s.

He is a Diversity and Race Relations Consultant. An ecumenical minister and a gifted preacher, Dr. James has worked and ministered in several denominations.

When asked what his focus in life is, he responded, “I would like everyone to know that God really loves them, and that no one is beyond the reach of God’s love despite what persons may say. I want everyone with whom I interact, to feel the presence, power and love of God.”

The service will feature Carl Gravender, one of the premiere church organists in the U.S., Guillermo Lopez, one of the highly accomplished Lyric Tenors in the Tampa Bay area, Tampa First Seventh Day Adventist Advent Choral, the Beulah Baptist Institutional Church Dance Ministry, and a talented musical Ensemble. Oh wow Mr James 55 years of this Eurocentric concept. Can we imagine if he had spent 55 years studying real authentic spiritual science that Europeans knew nothing of? The science that their religion was made out of. The spirituality of the Haitian People and Africans that Christianity took parts of and vilified as voodoo, hoodoo, dirty names we were made to hate, using their media and schools to make it evil. They claim to have kept some parts like drinking the blood(wine), eating the flesh(lusty), swinging the thing with smoke around, then educate us that these people worship evil, trust the colonizers of God’s power. Dr. James, I wish you well the rest of your journey, and wish you were brave enough to have dug deeper into the distortions/teachings/indoctrination.
