Senior Women’s Football Team final training day ahead of Suriname

The Dominica Senior Women’s National Football Team had their last day of training at DFA’s Technical Centre in Stockfarm on Thursday morning, ahead of two final group stage matches in Suriname in Concacaf’s 2023 Road to W Gold Cup.

Schedule

Dominica vs. Guyana on Wednesday, November 29 

Suriname vs. Dominica on Sunday, December 3 

Dominica’s matches against Guyana and Suriname in Group A League B at the Dr. Ir. Franklin Essed Stadium in Paramaribo, Suriname will culminate Dominica’s campaign for the Women’s Gold Cup. These matches will determine if Dominica can climb the points table and earn one of the eight spots, to advance to the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup. The tournament takes place in the United States from February 20-March 10, 2024.

Attached is an interview with Coach Ronnie Gustave and the team’s top goal-scorer in this tournament, Starr Humphreys. Principally, Humphreys was among Concacaf’s Best 11 in League B in the October window.
