In a significant boost to Dominica’s connectivity, Silver Airways has announced the addition of two more flights to its weekly schedule.
Starting from October 23, 2023, until August 15, 2024, the airline will operate six flights per week from Puerto Rico to Dominica, from Monday to Saturday. This expansion comes just in time for the World Creole Music Festival.
Moreover, passengers can now book code-share flights from the US mainland to Puerto Rico and then onwards to Dominica with their preferred airlines, including American Airlines, United Airlines, JetBlue, and Delta.
This increase in flight frequency and capacity is expected to provide added convenience for travelers.
The Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) encourages everyone to share this news widely to promote increased occupancy of local properties and says it is continuing its collaborative efforts with local stakeholders to boost stayover visitation to the island.
The DDA also advises that flight availability is subject to change and the regular flight schedule of four times weekly will resume after August 15, 2024.
Now we can stop expanding the existing runway and put that 30 to 50 million$ towards eliminating ROLLING BLACKOUTS. seriously.
Would not recommend this airline. Had my fair share of inconveniences, travelling to Domlnlca, a little over a month ago
Tina
de festival is every year……..de international airport atmosphere around general election can’t fix dat?
no money?
With all the travel inconveniences we are experiencing in Ma Dominique, why cant we just say “thank you lord” instead of criticizing. Come on folks when its good lets applaud it.
Clearly you have never been on one of their flights otherwise you would have kept your mouth shut. Applause for what? More mediocrity? Give me a break, man.
if lizard was good meat it wouldn’t be living on tree I rather walk to dominica
I would not fly with Silver Airways if they were the last airline on the planet. If you want to spend extra days in Puerto Rico or have your flight canceled repeatedly, book with Silver.
That’s a fact. It’s very disgraceful and inconveniencing. Silver is a wacky airline.
$150.00 hotel voucher for a $300.00 room at SJU. Thanks Silver!
Generators we need…not flights. How they going to see light when they come?
Kerosene lamp and coal pot flambeau.
You crack me up. 😂😂😂😂. However, you’re asking legitimate question. We always put the cart to pull the horse in Dominica. Thanks for the laugh.
If that’s the aircraft they are using… good luck! My guess, less than 20 seats and restricted luggage. OMG!
@Accountant, Silver airways now have relatively new 50 seater ATR aircrafts. They have gotten rid of the 32 seater SABs .
