Australia have battled their way to 5-208 at stumps on day one of the second Test against the West Indies in Trinidad.
On a Queen’s Park Oval pitch so lifeless former Windies fast bowler Michael Holding felt a tombstone wouldn’t have looked out of place on it, Shane Watson was the only Australian batsman to pass 50 in a tight day of Test match cricket.
At the end of play Michael Hussey (26) and Matthew Wade (11) were both at the crease at the end of the day, having both been dropped early in their innings.
Wayne Phillip would have done a much better job behind stumps. Even the Keeper from St. Vincent would have done a better job with the gloves.
Shane continue we love u .
Let’s go Windies and Shane. WI All in!!
West Indies need to drop Baugh as a wicked keeper, the catch he dropped from the balling of Shane was a dolly catch,Also he could have caught the catch Sammy held.
SHANE CRICKET IS A GAME THAT YOU WERE BORN INTO SO GIVE IT YOUR BEST AND PLAY ON WE ARE WITH YOU ALL THE WAY.
Shane has been very impressive thus far, 32 overs for 56runs 2 wickets. The wicket column could have been more,if the catch of Hussey was taken by Baugh, but that’s cricket.
Tomorrow is another day Shane, continue your good work.NOTHING BEATS DETERMINATION! Stun the Naysayers.
