DCP X-Men overcome Tony Pretence Stormers in division one basketball league

Scoring 10 straight points in the last five minutes of Thursday night’s nail-biting division 1 league match up in the LIME National Basketball League, the DCP X-Men restricted their opponents Tony Prentice Stormers to steal the night’s net.

The game ended with an 82-77 scoreboard in overtime, after regular playtime closed with a 68-68 tie.

Top scoring for X-Men were Shamba Leblanc 18pts, Robert Guiste 25pts and Hudson Flynn 14 points while for Tony Prentice Stormers’ Kurt Joseph bounced in 20 points for his team with Clayton Burns close behind with 15 points, and Derrick Birmingham and Mario Williams 10 points apiece.

The action continues tonight at the Lindo Part with the RJS Blazers coming up against Glam X-Men.

    But what happened to the Stormers team, they used to have so many men on the bench now they can hardly have 3 subs for hte game. Lack of commitment on the part of the players?
