Defending league champion, Lagoon, has moved one step closer to recapturing the Mackeson Stout and Carib Beer Domino competition.
In one of the most keenly contested semi–final matches over the weekend against Dolphins from Scottshead, the champions held on to the end to win by 48 points; final scores Lagoon 4010, Dolphins 3962.
In the other semi-finals match, the unbeaten Rockers from Paix Bouche destroyed Burton Eagles in a one-sided match to book a spot in final to be held on Sunday.
Final scores Rockers 4005, Eagles 2622.
Sunday’s final will see for the very first time, two teams from the north of the island do battle for the Mackeson Stout and Carib Beer Domino Championship – that’s when Lagoon meets Rockers.
The event will be held at the Cabrits Cruise Ship Berth.
The third place match between Dolphins and Burton Eagles will also be played in Scottshead on Sunday
Meanwhile, in the Angostura White Oak Rum and Pepsi knockout league last weekend, Kingshill Power defeated Shake a Leg.
Final scores, Kingshill Power 4005, Shake a Leg 3020; Just Come 4006, Dynamic Stars 3642 and D.C Glazzers 4048, Strikers 3675.

Lagoon man must be able to play domino good cus that alone they does sit down by the road and do “play domino”
lets go rockers
who tell peter he can play domino?
We can make a drink using the names of the domino teams, does any one have any suggestion?
My favorite domino name is Shake a Leg, so sorry they went down to Kingshill Power.
A Shake a Leg sounds like vodka, some of a sweet liquor, passionfruit juice(concentrate) no ice just chilled.
Kingshill Power sounds like the old fashion stout egg, milk and lime rind but up the alcohol content with the white oak rum.
Please, Don’t drink and Drive!!!!!
Nice start.
