After playing in five straight domino finals in Dominica without a championship, Clara Rockers from Paix Bouche are now two games away from the championship in the 2014 Bigger and Better Network Digicel premier domino competition.
They powered their way to a 665 points victory over Dolphins from Scotthead in game one of the best of three matches. Final scores: Rockers 4033, Dolphins 3368.
Top players for Rockers were Arlington Walter and Hubert Remy with 1,386 points. They were supported by Mark George and Ignatius Francis with 875 points.
For Dolphins, captain Lester Moreau and team mate Ian Lazare top scored with 1935 points.

In the division 1 final, Matrix from Bath Estate have taken game one in the best of three with a very exciting and close victory over Mahaut Smart Boys. Final scores: Matrix 4020, Smart Boys 3853 points.
