Dolphins from Scottshead are the new champion of the Angostura White Oak Rum Knock-out Domino Competition.
In the grand final played at Bellevue on Sunday, Dolphin’s held on to their two hundred points lead throughout the match to win in the end by 564 points. Final scores Dolphins 4019, Tremors 3455.
The runner up received one case of LL&B, one case of White Oak Rum and $300.00 while the champion received one case LL&B, one case white oak rum a plaque and $500.00.
Angostura White Oak Rum Pairs Competition
Meanwhile six pairs from the South West booked their spot for the finals of the Angostura White Oak Rum Domino Pairs Competition in September during a competition for their zone held at Henry’s and Humphrey’s bar in Soufriere on Saturday.
The final six pairs are Ian Lazare & Rolston Johnson, Melvin Moreau &Tony Alexander and Lambert Pacquette &Leroy Angol from Scottshead; Vivian Winston &Dale Mickel, Marcel Matthew & Dorian Anselm from Soufriere and Pamela Delsol &Michael Gregoire from Gallion.
The Domino Pairs Competition continues this weekend, for the South (players from Bellevue to Petite Savanne), on Saturday July 14th at 5:00 pm at Whole World Bar in Grandbay.
The competition for the West (players from Layou to Dublanc) will be held on Sunday July 15th at 1:00 pm at Glenda’s Bar located on the high way in Layou.
