Dr Hunte sends condolences to relatives of Ken Ablack

St John’s, Antigua – WICB President Dr. Julian Hunte has sent condolences to the relatives of former First Class player and long-time commentator Ken Ablack who died in his native Trinidad at the age of 91.

Ablack worked for the BBC’s Test Match Special in the 1950s and served as producer for the BBC.

Between 1946 and 1949 Ablack made three appearances for Northamptonshire as a slow left arm orthodox bowler.

Ablack had best figures of 3 for 32 and took a total of six wickets during his three year career.

    As a boy I listened 2 K Ablack as cricket commentator; hope he rest in peace.
