Eleven athletes and Four Officials will represent Dominica at the 44th Edition of the Carifta Games to take place at the Silver Jubilee Athletics Stadium, Bird Rock, Baseterre, St. Kitts from the 3rd – 6th April 2015.
The Athletes are:
1. Zellie Charles – D.S.C/Wesmar Rangers .A .C will compete in the High Jump and Long Jump U-20 Girls
2. Donisha Xavier – P.S.S will compete in the U -20 Girls Javelin
3. Shanee Angol – D.S.C/Aithons .A.C will compete in the U-18 Girls Javelin (Shanee in the Present National and Carifta Record Holder in this event, with a throw of 49.66m which she threw in 2014)
4. Kellandie Bully – I.T.S.S/Pioneers .A.C will compete in the U-18 Girls 400m and 800m
5. Anelia Austrie – N.E.C.S/Wesmar Rangers .A.C will make her third appearance at the Games in the U-18 Girls High Jump and Triple Jump
6. Derick St. Jean – D.S.C/Pioneers .A.C will compete in the 400m U-20 Boys
7. Raheem Joseph – N.E.C.S/Wesmar Rangers .A.C will compete in the Discus and Shot Put U-20 Boys
8. Kihmo Benjamin – N.E.C.S/Wesmar Rangers .A.C will compete in the Discus and Shot Put U-20 Boys
9. Jazan Laurent – P.C.S.S/Aithons .A.C will compete in the 1500m and the 3000m U-18 Boys
10. Josh Toussaint – I.T.S.S/Aspirers .A.C will compete in the Shot Put and Javelin U-18 Boys
11. Keyon Burton – N.E.C.S/Wesmar Rangers. A.C will compete in the Javelin and Discus U-18 Boys
• Miss. Shantelle Graham Xavier will be the Chaperon and Team Manager
• Mr. Godwin Dorsette – Coach
The D.A.A.A President Cedric Harris will represent Dominica at the congress and should be able to assist in coaching when not involved in his official C.E.O duties while Walson Pacquette will continue his proud inclusion to the Carifta Family since last year as Technical Official.
The Team will leave Dominica on Wednesday 1st April 2015 at 4:30pm from the Charles Douglas Air Port in Marigot and Return on Wednesday the 8th April 2015.
The Dominica Amateur Athletics Association would like to congratulate the above mentioned athletes for meeting the standards for the Games. It is indeed a proud moment for you all as your performances stand among the finalist of the events you have qualified in.

Waste of tax money, year in year out no good results, pls build good facilities so kids can excell and compete with other Caribbean nations.
I am glad we have representation, but we should aim to have more support from the government for more participation. we should have at least double that number, which can give encouragement to local athletes to aspire to such sporting endeavors. We can do better by our youth!
