The BBC has obtained a document detailing claims that Jack Warner handed a senior Caribbean football official a locked case containing envelopes of cash to be distributed to members of the Caribbean Football Union at a special meeting promoting Mohamed Bin Hammam’s Fifa presidential bid.
The allegation is contained in a report by the CFU general secretary Angenie Kanhai. The two page document, on CFU headed paper and dated 15 July 2011, was prepared for Fifa general secretary Jerome Valcke but was to be sent via the CFU’s executive committee.
Hi mr warnett i did not vote for ur party but i must say that u are doing a very good job don’t study what anyone think or say about u will achieve more ok white gods blessing.bye M.
According to Petrus Damaseb, Deputy Chairman of FIFA Ethics Committee “in light of the evidence disclosed in the investigations and the hearings, the Ethics Commitee decided to ask the Secretary General, to request further investigations into the conduct of others who attended the meeting of 10 and 11 May in Trinidad and whose conduct justifies further investigations” .
According to my Grandmother… Mwen paka kiye’ non piesson” in other words “no name no warrant”. So it ain’t over till the Sec. Gen say so. He might just decide to issue a “Secretary General’s” pardon and close the books on that case which has already proven to be too embarassing for FIFA anyway
Hmmmmmmmmm. Interesting. What are the implications for Dominica and its football since an investigation is going to be launched re those who were present at the meeting in Trinidad in May. According to the FIFA Ethics Committee, those who were presenred at the meeting should be investigated since they lied. Dominica was represented at the meeting by Patrick John and Phillip White DFA President and Treasurer respectively.
Real interesting.
Wonder what PJ saying about that now…& if we should trust his word about not taking that bribe.
