Record number of domino teams for round of 16 in domino competition

Domino June 16(2)A record number of new teams have booked their places in the big round of 16 in the Mackeson Stout and Carib Beer domino competition carded for Sunday June 23.

The  new teams are Focus from Woodfordhill, Heats from Roseau, Tambarine Tree from Newtown, Golf from Wesley, Lions from Soufriere, Golden Arms from Soufriere, Nun Players from Castle Bruce, and Fire services.

These are the results of matches played last weekend: Stars 4018, Focus 2442; Valiant 4001, A.C.S Boys 3546; Mount Zion 4017, Public Enemies 3446; Heats 4013, Sting 2505; Kingshill Power 4089, Hilltop 3225; Heats 4019, Wake up Stars 3982; Tremors 4010, Fone Shack Bay Boys 3131; Smart Boys 4009, RC Construction 2702; Lions 4007, Strikers 2494; Lagoon 4031, Doc Mac Geo Power 2310; Golden Arms 4005, Boys 3213 and Nun Players 4005, Fire Services 3346.

The teams which qualified from Zone A are: Valiant from Morne Racette , Stars from Ans De Mai, Focus from Woodfordhill and Baghdad from Grandfond. The teams from Zone B are Rockers from Paix Bouche, Mount Zion from Mahaut, Heats from Roseau and Tambarine Tree from Newtown. From Zone C: Tremors from Grandbay, Smarts Boys from Mahaut, Golf from Wesley and Lions from Soufriere.

And Zone D: Lagoon, Golden Arms from Soufriere, Nun Players from Castle Bruce and Fire Services.
