Maxroy Trading Southern Cricket League semi-finals this weekend

The Maxroy Trading  Southern Cricket League will at the end of this week enter into the semi final stage after some top performances earlier on.

Madech Granites smashed the Pointe Michel Cricket Academy  by 240 runs after scoring 333 for 7 in 30 overs. Wilson Challenger blasted his way to 127 for Granites; he got support from Shervin Labassaire 34 and Nassis Williams 44. Bowling for the Academy, Clever Martin 3 for 36 and Ifan Lovel 2 for 64.

The Pointe Michel Academy was shut out for 93. Clever Martin 48 and Shane Lewis 17 were the main scorers. Hyden St. Rose 3 for 07 and Ashley White 2 for 48 did the damage for Granites.

In the other game Pichlen, who were dismissed for 168 in 25.1 overs  won over Saints (132 all out) by 36 runs. John Roach 49, Lex Magloire 23 and Delroy Liver pool and Nichson Athanze 18 each.

Bowling for Saints Jessie Bardouille 3 for 28 and John Matthew 2 for 48. Saints were in trouble at 47 for 6 but a spirited fight back by the lower order led by  Cuthbert St. Jean 43 not out and John Matthew 36 almost brought them home. Delroy Liverpool 3 for 08 and Hanon Wallace 5 for 37 took the wickets for Pichlen.

So this weekend the four teams in the semi finals are Saints, Granites, Pichelin and Survivors.
