Results of South District sports competitions

In the National Lottery Lambert Henderson Cricket League on Saturday, Bafondpoint won Dubique Uprisers by seven wickets. Uprisers scored  88 all out in 29 overs.

Kurtley Anselm 18 not out, Kerry James 13.  Bowling for Bafondpoint, Richard Anselm 5/21  and Julius Thomas 2/18. Bafondpoint replied with  92/ 3.

Richard Anselm 31 not out, Marcel Fontain 29. Claudius Toussaint 1/22; Kayan  Jno. Baptiste 1/16.

On Sunday, Dr Darroux Pacers had a convincing  109 run victory over Hagley United.  Pacers scored 196.  Kevin James 76, Kerry Hilaire  40 and Charles Moise 33.  Terry Dangleben  8 overs 4/35 and Claudius Dangleben 8 overs 2/32.

Hagley United 87 all out in 29 overs Brian Defoe 30 Junior Charles 13.  Ronald Detouche 1.4 overs 4 wickets 0 runs
Odel Hamilton 2 for 20.

In the Justina Charles Rounders League, Bafondpoint went down to ACS South Defenders by 5 wickets.  Bafondpoint 195 all out in 30.3 overs. Frederica Carbon 52, Kella Toussaint 25

ACS South Defenders 196/6.  Shanelle  Deroche 46, Kim Anselm 35, Catherine Gregoire 31, Ella Mello 24.

Dubique Wine Strikers won Bellevue C Birds by 10 wickets. C Birds scored 172 all out. Glenda Mitchel 52,  Naomi 32

Wine Store Dubique Strikers 178 for 1 in 21 overs

Julia Bruno 60, Esther Simon 33, Antoinette Alexander 27.

LIME Unpredictable  won New India Rising Stars by 174 runs. LIME Unpredictable  scored 367 for 7 in 40 overs. Roslyn Angol 96, Karen Samuel 73, Sharon  Ellick 50, Anthia Casimir 31.

New India Rising Stars 193 all out in 35 overs  Ethlyn Germain 51, Susan Thomas 43, Juliette Samuel 26.

    Dubique Uprisers…….. GOOD FOR YOU. Dont mind the loss, little by little you all will get there. All Dubique there to suppoorrt. We good in Rounders , the cricket coming.

    I want to commend the Southern District Sports Committee for keeping the sports alive in the South, Its Like every time I read a sports Item it is coming from the South.Great job Guys, Kudos To Mr.Lestrade,Mr.brown and the rest of the guys, you all are doing an excellent job in keeping the young persons occupied in sports. There is always something going on at Geneva;Rounders,Cricket, Football, you just name it.. The District Committee is really working.. Congrats and let us unite the South Through Sports…

    good for sports in the south but them two palreps need to rehabilitate center and bagatelle playing fields
