Someone asked the question “what is a marathon?” and rightly so. We need as a people to show that we know what we are doing. Please measure the distance of the race and call it as it is. The Dominica Amateur Athletic Association is well established to help organizations such as yours to rightly label your road races. A marathon is run over 26.2 miles.

If you are lacking in comprehension skills, leave that to people who do.

I am happy that the community came together to do something for itself. If you could ready between the lines, I am an advocate for self improvement and not always waiting for the government to do everything. They have a role to play, but when they are not stepping up to the plate to do their job, I believe the people should step in to help in whichever way they can.

Now when you see big people talking, stay out of the conversation.

That is very interesting and I praise the organizers for their thought, but I have to bring it to your attention that a Marathon is 26 miles, and that distance and the winning time does not correspond to that of a marathon.
Sounds more like a 10k distance.
After all KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Let’s hear the UWP people criticize the government for not repairing the Salisbury playing field. People are no longer required to do anything for their community. Wait for the government to do everything.

Do realize that people to the first thing by paying the taxes the government imposes?

If you don’t then bear this in mind. The government has the primary responsibility to take care of these things. Of course the citizens can do their bit but they must see their tax dollar at work.

Without prejudice, how many people in Salisbury pay taxes and how much annually?

    • Really?

You do realize that this IS one way that they are trying to help themselves?? You done stood on the wrong soap box for that little diatribe. Go on…Take several sits!

VERY well done SEC. I have read about your various projects in the news off and on. Keep it up.. and good luck in all your future endeavors.
