Shane we wish you well stay fucous strong and continue being the role model you are .cricket is cricket just keep a cool head and play the game what matters you earn a salary and you will continue to prove the selectors wrong.if God is on your side you will win the battle.
My brother from another mother Shane keep on trodding. You the man. So proud of you!!! Stay foccused
So why is only in de Caribbean they chosing him to play????? He has better talent than others on the team……..they like to press small-islanders…….its ok Shane one day they will not have a choice
Should we be cheering for a demotion, and is Johnson the left arm quick injured? Just asking.
Would really like to see Delorn Johnson in. Maybe they are giving Shane a taste of ODI now, because of the limited amount of Test Cricket the WI plays. Who knows! He could be called for duty on the senior team soon. So I see it from a different angle.
@Sisserou – You see, that is where one can differentiate between the people that does really follow cricket in completeness and those that does only follow cricket on news.
How can you be suggesting that Shillingford’s inclusion to the ODI A-team at a time like now is a demotion? You see the Windies involved in any active cricket right now?
The tri-series plus the Pakistan tour coming up………..as a matter of fact, I see this A-team ODI series as an opportunity being given to Shane to press his claim for a selection to the Windies ODI team. Right now, there is a battle on between Shillingford and Miller to be the 2nd spinner in the Windies ODI team with Narine ahead for now as the premier ODI & T20 spinner.
Shillingford has established himself as the Windies main spinner for test cricket.
Have a BIG one Shane.
Peace.
Sorry, i meant choice.
Shane is an extremely talented young man and he will break down barriers. The selectors will have no choose but to grant him the recognition and position that he deserves. That is one of the many reasons why we must stop this village vs. village feud and embrace our identity… Dominicans. We have enough hurdles to climb in order to earn our rightful place as a small Island Nation…..Dominica. Shane, continue to perform with all your ability, no matter the tournament, you will break down the discrimination barrier. All the best.
Congrats to our boy Shane on his selection to the A-team. I really felt Shane could have made a significant contribution and big difference for the Windies in the Champions trophy tournament. Given the relative lack of effectiveness of Rampaul and the persistent inclement weather conditions, I believe Shane would have bowled effectively enough to restrict the opposition batsmen further. It would have been very interesting to see the Windies utilize the spin bowling guile of both Narine and Shane against South Africa and India.
Champions League dead and done, move on! Miller is in the team so is now Shane has to perform.
A TEAM??? isn’t that like a demotion??? Just asking.
Anyway, Shane just go ahead and do your thing. Dominica and Windwards are behind you. You can’t keep a good man down.
Congrats wish you WELL.Prepare yourself for this coming tri nation series in the caribbean. Go and show the world who you are.
