Sign Man All Stars; the new All Island League champions

Sign Man All Stars captured the All Island League Championship to bring the curtains down on the DFA 2011/2012 football season.

Sign man All Stars got the better of RC Doctors 1-0 in the final match played at Windsor Park Stadium on Saturday Night.

RC Doctors looked determined and impressive from the start but failed to score when the opportunity presented itself, resulting in a love all score at the end of the first half.

When play resumed, Signman All Stars appeared to have come out with a different plan. The players seemed more intent on winning and the result of that approach was a goal from McKeon Maroni in the 56th minute of play.

However, RC Doctors missed some scorimg chances which proved to their detriment and at the final whistle it was Signman All Stars who prevailed.

Final scores: Sign Man All Stars 1, RC Doctors 0.

As 2012 All Island League Champion, Sign Man has gained promotion to the Intermediate Division in the new season.
