St. Joseph parl rep brings basketball team to victory last night

Results of games played last night (thursday) in the Lime National Basketball League,

Game 1 – The game between the ACS Ballers and Kelver Daroux Hurricanes came down to the last quarter to decide who would win the the game with about 5 minutes to go the games was tied 45 to 45, but more consistent play led by star player Parliamentary Representative Honourable Kelvar Daroux of Hurricanes pulled of an easy victory in the end- 58 points to Ballers 51points. Top scoring for Hurricanes were Kelvar Daroux 22pts, Yudi John 8pts and Aiden Peirre 8pts and Kevin George 14pts and Daniel Ormond 12pts.

Game 2 – The second game between United Insurance Sharks and Pakya Marigot Sonics was a treat to an appreciative crowd who witness the Sonics team make a good comeback in the fourth quarter to tie the game up with about 4 minutes left, but some tough play by Iverson Jnobaptiste and Roy Ceasar saw the Sharks pull off a satisfying victory over Marigot Sonics. Final scores Sharks 61 points to Sonics 52 points, top scoring for Sharks were Iverson Jnobaptiste 12 pts, Royce Ceasar 11pts and Timothy Olivacee 8pts while in a losing cause Rick James 11 points anf Iamada Parker 10 points.

Tonight’s Games (Friday)

Game 1 – Police Sports Club verses Solo Auto Starz , has been called off and the points awarded to the Starz due the fact that the police team indicating or informed the association that they will not be able to fill a team tonight due to injuries. That was the final game of the Police Sports Club who had no chance of making it to the play offs.

Game 2 – Paix Bouche Eagles verses RC Enterprises Faith will now play at 7.30 pm and will be the only game at the Lindo park Court.
