ROSEAU, Dominica, Feb 16, CMC – Special Olympics Dominica has selected 12 special Olympians to represent the island at the Special Olympics Regional Games starting in Puerto Rico on Thursday.
Although 16 sports will be contested at the meet, Dominica will only participate in three sports, namely bocce, athletics and soccer.
Chairperson of Special Olympics Dominica and Head of Delegation, Ainsworth Irish said that the athletes were ready and there was a high level of enthusiasm among them.
“I must confess that these athletes are really excited and they are ready to go. The spirit within the camp is great and I have no doubt that they will represent Dominica well,” Irish said.
“The athletes have been in training for some months now. They have worked hard and now is the time for them to go out there and do their thing.”
Some 36 countries are expected to participate in the games which are scheduled to run from February 18-20.

I think that it is high time that you guys do your own research and write your stories instead of tiffing them from cmc. U have it before cmc puts it out. the same thing you do wif the news and you pay nofing for it. spend ur money for good stuff.
