Left-handed batsman Darren Bravo struck his third One-day International hundred to set up West Indies for a 100-run victory over South Africa on Friday, putting them into the Final of the BallrCup Tri-Nations Series powered by Cycle Pure Agarbathies.
Bravos’ s 102, which earned him the Player-of-the-Match award, was the rock upon which the Windies built a remarkable recovery from 21 for four to reach 285 all out in 49.5 over, after they were put in to bat on a hard, true Kensington Oval pitch in the ninth match of the tournament.
Shannon Gabriel, playing only his second ODI for the Caribbean side, then tore through the South African top order in a destructive opening burst of five overs and the visitors were eventually dismissed for 186 in 46 overs.
Gabriel ended with 3-17 and off-spinner Sunil Narine finished with 3-28 from his allotted 10 overs.
The result meant that West Indies face ODI World champions and World No.1 Australia in the Final on Sunday at the same venue.
Below is the West Indies squad for the Final.
