I would rather have a winner on my side like the likes of senior council Tony Astaphan than the wannabe lawyers who has a lot of catching up to do to get close to Tony. The WICB recognizes a winner

Doctor Mac would be a much better advisor since it is a practical fact that he plays cricket much better Tony. Mac is a much better batsman than Tony. Tony’s pitch is the doctor’s training ground.

Officially, Cricket is no longer a gentleman’s sport in the West Indies.

Long time ago in Westindies hay days, a monkey could have ran the board. I am afraid the Westindies have gone the Kodak way. Westindies and the board have not adapted to the change required to build a strong cricket team. The board has used vindictiveness in disciplining players, the players have removed themselves from the Elite players class by their lack lustre performances. In the end it is proving to be an economic disaster for Westindies cricket whch by the way is tied to tourism.
For a cricket powerhouse to be reduced to club cricket type performances is a bloody disaster. Today when the game s gaining interest in North America, if Westindies was a strong and winning team the game could attarct corporate interest bu when the stands are filled with empty seats game after game it tells us the the state of affairs of cricket in the Westindies is not good.

        …………………..boy look jokes Astaphan to advise WICB…………

See what happens when governments get their hands too involved in West Indies cricket. Some of these CARICOM governments want to advise the WICB on how it should govern itself when these governments cannot even govern themselves and perform the tasks they were elected to do in their respective countries.

I say disband some of these regional governments FIRST before any more talk of disbanding the WICB.

To seek advice from Tony Astaphan on a game of fair play does not seem like cricket to me.
