i think this present coach is the worst the team has ever had. all members of the team are in odds with him. he acts like a typical dictator. the team dont need a dictator. he’s running the guys away. look at the manner the guys look when the team is in trouble. not even sammy who is a pure cricketer at heart can smile. this coach must go now.

Selectors, coach and Board are all confused and that’s our main problem. Nash was recently named as vice captain and because he is out of form. he was dropped. I would not have had a problem with him being on the side and not making the final eleven; In fact he should not have made the final eleven ahead of Samuel in the Jamaica match.
But to drop him from the 13 man squard for Kirk Edwards is just pathetic.
As far as I am concerned, Coach is doing his best to recruit his fellow Bajans on the Windies team. Devon Smith was bitterly dropped for another Bajan who by the way was not good enough to make the the 13 man squard, but somehow he was kept in Guyana during the test to work with another Bajan, Desmond Haynes. I realize in years gone bye Bados use to have good cricketers but things are different now- all teams are beating them and drafting men on the team simply because they are from Bados will not help us. They need to select our best eleven if they want to compete against weakened Indian team. And when you have players like Cris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo and this all rounder from jamaica out, we should expect to fall 0-2 in Barbados and then a sweep at the Widsor Park a wicket that will defenitely accomodate the Indians.

Why drop Nash and keep Sarwan. Pity the captain (Sammy) cant also be dropped.

Yes it would be nice if they could win the next one and have the decider in Dominica, but until the board picks a team on merit and not for personal reasons and some of the players show commitment, the West Indies cricket team will continue to be second class.

nash must loose form when he has been out of action for months…i see no reason why hes not selected to play in the one dayers…you have to keep playing cricket to maintain your form.since theres not alot of cricket played in the domestic format it would have been good to have him play some 1 dayers..i think hes an accumulater like chanderpaul and could hold the innings together..

Common Windies!! Buckle up and win that 2nd test to level the series.

It would be fantastic if the series comes to Dominica tied at 1-1; hence the Dominica test match would be the potential decider of who wins the series.

My wish: West Indies wins India in Test Number 2 and we have a Grand Final here on July 6 – 10.
