Stories by Children book

Stories by Children is continuing to strive in ensuring all children develop a love for reading and writing. You will recall that three years ago, this exciting venture began. Children from the Diaspora and Dominica along with children of the family were invited to send entries which focused on different themes for the Volume 1 and Volume 2 publications.

Stories by Children can therefore boast of publishing two volumes and this year Volume 3 – Connect the Dots will be launched. You may have awaited the launch of Volume 3 in December 2023. However, due to the death of our illustrator and other pressing issues, we were forced to postpone the launch. We once again wish to pay tribute to our artist Mr. Alphonsus Baron who has made a meaningful contribution in this venture.

It is anticipated that Stories by Children Volume 3 will be launched early in 2024. Further details will be given in subsequent news releases. Volume 3 will feature 23 amazing young authors from Dominica and the Diaspora and we are looking forward to bring their entries to you.

In past releases, we published all the authors of Volume 3 who are as follows:

Mrs. Nicole Toussaint Jno-Baptiste, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Fernance and Cyrilla Family Club said that she is excited to present the authors to everyone. This she believes will encourage children to desire to be part of future publications. Authors will feel proud of their accomplishments.
