LIAT’s passengers are being asked to report to the Melville hall airport as operations could resume tomorrow.
Country Manager Gerard Cools-Latigue said LIAT officials are anticipating a return of pilots on the job tomorrow following a two day sick out.
“The pilots went on a two days sick out and all flights for these two days were cancelled. Legally if you are sick, you can be away from the job for two days and then you go back to work on Friday and all things will be normal.”
He is advising passengers who have early flights to report to Melville Hall.
He said passengers who have later flights should also listen to the radio for further details about their travel arrangements.
Thousands of passengers across the Caribbean remained stranded as LIAT was forced to cancel all flights on Wednesday and Thursday, after pilots initiated industrial action by calling in sick.
