UPDATE: Police arrest wife of man found dead in Wesley

breaking news

The wife of a man who was found dead in Wesley on Thursday morning has been taken into custody.

Police PRO, Inspector John Carbon, said 78-year-old Julien Hypolite died at his residence on Eden Road in the community at about 8:30 am on Thursday.

He said Hypolite was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife when he fell on the porch of his house and sustained an injury to the back of his head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the district medical officer.

A coroner’s inquest has convened and a post mortem will follow.

The wife is assisting with the investigation, Carbon said.

On Sunday, a man was found hanging from a rope in the community in a suspected case of suicide.

He was identified as 25-year-old Jamil Bruno.

Police are still investigating that matter.

@Rastafari May 16, 2014 “God looks down on you all…that’s all God does…nothing else but look down on you all. God needs to be considered, then! God does not care what you all experience otherwise, the things that happen in your lives would not be”.

You are speaking through ignorance of God Almighty–your own Creator–you do not know that because of faith and trust in Him, by us who maintain “Reverend Fear” of Him, you also, are being spared of His Holy wrath–but His time is coming for you.

And so “Looking down” on His people is profound concept; we say “looking down” because we know that He is no doubt, way above us; there is no where that we can hide from Him; there is nothing that we need which He does not know about; there is nothing that we are thinking, speaking, and doing that He cannot know, see, and hear –and that goes for people like you as well.

Those of us who suffer go through our suffering because of our disobedience, lack of faith, trust, and humility–we do not have a relationship with our God of Spirit in Love, Truth, and Holiness, so He leaves us to suffer the consequences–those sufferings even causes us to turn to Him for His mercy and compassion, but we have to remain with Him, by sincere faith.

Jesus said to one the Churches at the Book of Revelation: Those I love I will rebuke and chasten–that means discipline and training of the carnal mind–through whatever the form that He uses. Revelation 3: 19

And so be worried if you are not going through some sort of hard situation, from time to time–it would mean that God has left you alone to have your own way, but His time will come for you–you will not be able to face that time with Him–mark my word.

My grandpa was a hard working man who left Laplaine as a young man and came to England, went back home with his first wife to live in Wesley. Unfortunately/naively, he got involved with another psychopath….. no justice will return grandpa, lets home the Dominica justice system is better than other places.

Sorry to hear of another death in Wesley. May his soul rest in peace.
My sincere sympathy to his family, wherever they reside.
Do not be alarmed. These incidents happen. It has nothing to do with all the people of Wesley and Wesley in general. OK! Therefore, leave them out of it and those who were not involved in those two situations.
The police will conduct their investigation, hopefully a thorough one to determine whether he died unnaturally, if his death was caused by some object and a fall which could have caused him to get a heart attack and to die. I hope the police and medical practitioner conduct a proper investigation.
It is obvious and normal that the wife will be investigated and even taken to the police station for questioning. She should not be arrested until it is proven that she caused his death. This is the way the Law should operate.

The devil is busy he knows that his time is short.my advise to all is to ask Jesus to come into your life. Wash you with his blood forgive you of your sins and write your name in the lambs book of life.
after the confession is made ask him the grace to live holy and change all the wrong desires that will lead you astray from him..This is revelation time.Get serious with God. Hell is real.that’s my advise to all who will read this message.

“He said Hypolite was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife when he fell on the porch of his house and sustained an injury to the back of his head.” Police Source).

Well, if according to the information above given by the police, which clearly stated: “He said Hypolite was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife when he fell on the porch of his house and sustained an injury to the back of his head.

I am left to believe that is the cause of his death, so why would the police arrest this seventy-eight (78) year old woman? One can imagine that someone at age seventy-eight experiencing something like that will be traumatized in ever way that could affect her mentally, as such she may not even be capable of communicating effectively with the police.

If she inflected the blow which caused him to fall, hence sustaining the injury which may or may not have caused his death they should not have even arrested her until the results of the autopsy is released. My question is this what happened to the criminal who viciously, and savagely beat my niece vava to actual death, and I understand escaped to St. Lucia?

Vava, is dead; has the Dominica police issued an warrant for his arrest, and forward it to St. Lucia police so that they arrest the culprit and deport him back to Dominica? Vava’s case is a case of murder, this latest in seems to be an old man losing his equilibrium, falling and by accident hit his head and died.

Anonymous u should watch more crime stories. the first port of call has to be the person at home or who last saw/ was with the person

    • Simply the Truth
      May 16, 2014

I agree especially when it entails an injury to the head and a fall which caused his demise and even though he were injured. The first person who will be suspected is someone in the home and the one who saw him last. She has much to answer to the police.

      @roof spider May 15, 2014

Satan is loose–meaning he is at large, not lose–this has not happened yet; that is the reason for so much wickedness and evil among us today.

But he will face defeat when he has been captured, and to spend 1000 years in his abyss–that will happen at God’s time for him.

Satan will remain in captive until God’s anointing in Love has completely sanctified or consecrated the minds of His chosen people, whom He wants reconciled to His Holiness in Spirit and Truth.

“Every Village, town, and country goes though phrases”

The word is not phrases you know; I suppose you intended to say “Phases” which means something totally different to phrases okay!

If you read the following perhaps you will learn the definitions of the word “phase”. Note: “Phase” means a particular appearance, or state in a regularly recurring cycle of changes: i.e. as in the cycle of the moon. In Wesley our parent taught us about New, and full moon; first quarter and so on the moon changes appearance from one cycle to another. Phase also means: a distinguishable part in a course, development, or cycle, such as shall I say the early stages of one’s career: Let us say one starts on a job as a janitor, who became a messenger, later move up to be a clerk, eventually becoming the manger, and ultimately the owner.

Phase is also defined as an aspect, or part as of a problem under consideration. Think in terms of a point or stage in a period of uniform circular motion, harmonic motion, or the periodic changes of any magnitude varying according to a simply harmonic motion, or the harmonic law to which the rotation, oscillation, of variation has advanced considered in its relation to a standard position, or assumed instant of starting.

If you were into the science of Electronic, and Electrical Engineering you would have no difficulties understanding the latter. I know you will not understand this bur I will also inform you that Phase also implies a homogeneous, physical, distinct, and mechanically separable portion of matter present in a nonhomogeneous physicochemical system.

The bottom line is simple this; the word “phase” simply means a cycle such as in three (360 degrees) hundred-sixty degrees which equal one complete cycle.

I did not do this to humiliate nor embarrass you in anyway, but I believe if I explain it out to you; the next time you wish to use the word, you will know the correct spelling , and the many different ways in which it can be used.

Phrase, phrased; or phrasing means to express in words, or in appropriate, or telling terms to designate by a descriptive word, or phrase.

In the days I resided in D/ca, I knew a Robin woman who worked at a pharmacy in Roseau. Everyone called her “Miss Robin”. She was a very nice, jovial, always smiling/laughing and well-known person. She was a likeable person. Then she got married and owned her own pharmacy in Roseau. I believe she died some years ago.
Some people marry for love and others not. Some marry for money, possessions and stability. Generally, men must be careful marrying younger women. It does not always work out. As the men age and even become sick, problems could arise and the younger women may no longer be interested.

People must learn to control their temper. When they experience difficulties, they must first think of God and ask him to assist them and have mercy on them. He will assist them and protect them from these quarrels and making a bad decision as injuring or murdering someone. They should also know how to walk away, be it for a while, to cool their head, so as not to get angrier and commit murder. She may have been angry enough which caused her to do such a thing.
