UWP extends condolences to the grieving family of Fr. Glanville Joseph and the Roman Catholic community

Roseau, Dominica  September 7,  2023 – On behalf of the leadership, members, and supporters of the United Workers Party-TEAM Dominica (UWP) the National Executive Committee extends its sincerest condolences to the grieving family of the late Father Glanville “Father Joe” Joseph. Condolences are also extended to the grieving Roman Catholic Community of Dominica, the clergy, and particularly the Redemptorist Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (CSsR), within which he served as a Priest.

Father Joe, as he was affectionately called, served the Roman Catholic Community and the Diocese of Roseau with exemplary spiritual commitment and dedication. All who met him felt the grace flowing from him as he fearlessly ministered and spread the good news of Christ’s teachings. We pray that Father Joe be received by the heavenly angels and brought to rest in peace with our Lord God Almighty.

Just don’t publish the innocuous articles of the UWP. Publish the biting ones also. 100% BIASED!!!!!

Dominica is suffering from hardly having any independent news sources. No wonder its democracy is gravely ill.

ADMIN: This came from a press release.

We publish virtually everything we receive from the UWP. It is difficult to recall even one instance where we refused an article from their organization.

Notably, we receive far more communication and releases from the government. This follows as they are a much bigger entity.

If we have a bias then it is for publishing releases.

In general, we regularly reach out to individual party members and the party representatives themselves for comment or reaction on a regular basis only to see a response on another media platform – which is their choice and right to do so.

In regards to UWP, and all political parties by extension, we would always welcome greater media access.
