Tropical depression number 12 has formed in the far eastern tropical Atlantic and the Dominica Meteorological Service is advising residents to monitor its progress.
The depression is forecast to develop into a tropical storm by tonight (Wednesday) and is moving towards the west north west near 14 mph.
The system is expected to be in the vicinity of the Lesser Antilles by the middle of next week.
For a detailed forecast I recommend that readers visit the discussion page at the National Hurricane Center. You will find it at: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCDAT2+shtml/160833.shtml?
Why is this news? This storm is not even expected to pass close to us.. I have said and will say again..Too many false alarms will eventually lead to complacency as there was b4 Erika..
well go on the media and say it not passing close to us…let us know where it passing so we can relax …seems you are God. They said it will be in our vicinity so monitor… I understand what that means. Every storm is an alarm for me..not after what I get under Erika…I lost family…Waiting to get the right news from you
Well dear…. the right news is that there is no need to be alarmed as the storm will be nowhere close to us!!!!! I said that already!
None of the reliable computer models forcast td12 coming anywhere near Dominica. What is it a slow news day. You should vist the site named weather underground, tropical section and you can get accurate information.
ADMIN: The map we used was actually taken from Weather Underground
Then you know it is coming no where near us…..why make it appear that way?
So right. And besides movement towards the westnorthwest is away from the islands anyway
Don’t know where you see westnorthwest but I see moving west at 13mph. Is so allu does have ppl confused. Clat-I man
