Former Officer Derek Chauvin charged with 3rd-degree murder in killing of George Floyd

George Floyd (still alive) while pinned to the ground by Former officer Derek Chauvin

The former Minneapolis police officer shown in video by a bystander kneeling on the neck of George Floyd, an unarmed black man who subsequently died, has been charged with murder, officials in Minnesota said via live press conference on Friday.

This murder charge comes on the heels of 3 nights of protests, an attack on a police precinct and an on-air arrest of  a reporter.

Mike Freeman of the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office announced the charge and said that his office now has the evidence they need to bring this case to trial.

He added that his office has never charged a case in such a short time, less than 4 days since the incident occurred.

A murder conviction, if it can be gotten with a mixed jury would be a significant accomplishment. He would forever be labeled as a killer and couldn’t get another police job. This would be a life sentence and his life will be ruined, even by his own cruel actions.

I suggest you read up on the “consent decree” established by Obama, and Trump get rid of when he took office. One of his many juvenile actions to undo Obama’s legacy.

This is the tip of the iceberg. The are many many serial Killers in the U.S police departments, they all enjoy the support of the de-facto U S gov’t called The Nat’l Assoc of police Chiefs. That’s not this guy’s first killing either. Just Google missing Black girls and women in the U.S you will most probably have to scroll thru many pages. It is alleged that many many on that list were either done by police or ’caused’ to be missing by some of the same police that are looking for them, with the same dirty smirk on their faces. It is a police state and has been for many years as the norm.

This scumbag should never have been in the police force to this day this guy has so many criminal offences on his record and getting away with it I would not be surprised if he gets away with this one again. America is a very corrupt country to the core from the white House down what happened here will not change anything from the day we were born black people are disadvantage to white people, I am sure to get thumb down from arrogant blacks brainwashed idiots.

The autopsy shows no evidence of asphyxiation. The guy had heart issues and was on drugs at the time (again from autopsy). They can go all emotional and try to overcharge this guy but it will be George Zimmerman all over again and this guy will get off scot free because the charge doesn’t fit the circumstances of the case.

This cop was dead wrong but the people making this about race are even worse. All of a sudden everyone forgot about the brutal crackdown of authorities on ALL races during this pandemic. This is a police brutality issue. People are rioting and destroying businesses that have NOTHING to do with what happened. They beat a shop owner to death why are we not seeing anything about that on the news?

Also why is no one talking about the fact that these two guys (floyd and officer) most likely knew each other since they worked at the same place for a year. They drop the race bait in front your faces and ignorant black people just go crazy.

Listen you…..what are you trying to tell us? That even if Chauvin hadn’t been around George Floyd would have dropped dead on THAT EXACT spot, at THAT EXACT time from heart issues and drug problems? Honestly, you have NO SHAME and disgust me!

I hope you or your loved ones are never subject to this kind of discrimination, fatal or otherwise, even if you don’t know the meaning of STANDING STRONG TOGETHER. Don’t be an apologist for people and systems that HATE YOU and me!!!

If you are a Black person then You just might be the ignorant one, don’t worry there’s always one. The rest of us can’t even breathe free now because there’s more of you out there. It is racism! Did he slam the last white guy that hicked him and even spat in his face? It is racism in U.S police departments being confronted by the people. You may not lost your comfy home and trips to the mall, but there is an uprising of your racist, white supremacist friends going on, they are causing mayhem, and people are standing up to them. Symbolically, they got your boy hiding in a bunker as I write.

@sense out of nonsense, If I could, I would swop you with the black guy underneath the killer cop’s knee everyday. Did you read about the second autopsy correlating the guys death directly with the officer’s action! I also suspect you might not be a black person, so you should put a zip on it.

Hello and good morning my people. The American government is afraid to look into a mirrow because if they do they won’t like what they will see. If you are killed by the police that means you are killed by the government but the American federal Government always try to separate themselves from the incident. At this stage black Americans need to seek protection by the United Nation and subsequently seek their independence from America. The four officers should be arrested and charged with Murder Second degree with Manslaughter First and Second degree as underlined crimes. Black Americans must stop going to Grand Jury and indicting blacks for possessing guns or drugs while white men can go into the State House in Michigan with their military weapons. Seek your independence.

Murder 3 is an extremely heavy crime; if that man is not incarcerated for the rest of his days in the body, then there is something very seriously evil about the laws in the USA

I am looking 4 the day, when we(blacks) will be able to think for our selves.
We are being told “Trump hate black people” and we refuse to see his deeds.
There was a BLACK woman who was put in prison for life, in 1996 for a first time nonviolent drug offense..not even a knife was involved yet imprisoned for life.Kim Kardashian, (Kanye West’s wife) brought her case to Trump and Alice M. Johnson is free like a bird in the sky. This is Trump who hate blacks. Here is another one,
Charles Matthew (Black) one of the 1st convicts set free under Trump’s First Step Act.Hear his own words, I am adding nothing.
“Many of us who have been sentenced to decades in prison, for nonviolent crimes, were praying 4 someone to come into government, with the commitment and courage to finally get this done, and President Trump and his administration responded”
I always ask you my fellow blacks, name the things democrats especially Obama has done 4 us.
I will continue to show Trump deeds Thanks.

“Those who forget their History, will be condemned to repeat it”. What happened to the African brother is just sensationalism, is there a time in the last 400yrs when it did not occur? worst have been done , Social Media have had a great say in mordern day expose’ of what the Africans across the Atlantic continue to endure. The arrest of the White Police officer, is to calm, and show that something is being done. We will not see any meaningful Laws put in place, and like all the other Police Killings of unarmed Africans, at the end of this senerio , George Floyd’ Family will be paid a substantial sum. In the Caribbean, we have had a vast number of George Floyds that didn’t get their day in the sun, their Demise at the hands of some Black Police officers, should be just as alarming. In Devine Intervention times, things don’t look Paradisiacal. This Pandemic have exposed the US of A. White power, EGO and ARROGANCE have never been a goog mix. AMEN.

In Trump’s America racism is given the green light. It’s so normal that the racists feel emboldened to openly display their once covert racial bias in public without fear of condemnation or penalization. There are too many white supremacists in the police organizations in the US. Destruction of property and lost of lives is very regrettable but sometimes it takes radical measures to bring about revolutionary changes. Four hundred years of lynching, brutality, false imprisonment has become too much for one race to take. Enough is Enough.

This man is demon possess, why blame Trump? Plenty more blacks were killed by police under Obama’s administration.
From the first president,G.Warshington to Trump,Bill Clinton (Democrat) have the record,For under his reign more blacks were dumped in prison.Maybe you not aware of the Crime Bill he signed into law,it was so bad on young black men, and to a lesser extent on black women, that when his wife(Hilary) ran,she had to apologize to the blacks.Joe Biden was also deeply involved in passing this law.He also apologized to the blacks, because he want to be president.Obama spent his 8yrs in office crying about black imprisonment, and did nothing.Do you know who corrected this injustice?Under 3yrs Trump signed the bill titled “Criminal Justice Reform.President TRUMP, he said “It is not right to have thousands of young black men and women in prison for petty crimes, give them a second chance.”
Thousands are out of prison.CNN will not highlight it this act.
        Thanks Mr.president

That’s the problem with many of us blacks. We don’t use our God given brain,we let others think for us.If what I print is incorrect, instead of calling me a dog, just show me where I am wrong.Don’t be like a tape recorder, repeating what others say.No wonder Biden said the other day “Any black that don’t support him,is not black”
We made ourselves slaves to the democratic party. No surprise blacks having difficulties to show their achievements under their beloved party.

@J.Jno-Charles, Attaboy Trump apologist, if you can bold facedly profess your open admiration for the worst leader in the democratic free world, one who called himself a “Nationalist” and who called racists, neo-Nazi and KKK marchers in Charlottesville fine people, and who called Kaepernick and others kneeling for a stop to police brutality “sons-of-bitches” then you should do like me and put your real name out there and not hide behind some fictitious name. Shame on you whoever you are. President Obama did put reforms in place and changed sentencing guidelines for crack cocaine among other things. Go and do some research. Trump threw the documents dealing with reforms that Obama had accomplished especially on police reforms in the trash can, just as he threw the plans against pandemics into the trash.

Those wicked labor party supporters who have advocated for extreme police force when citizens stand up for their rights like in Salisbury and Marigot, I hope they see on TV live and direct that the police in the USA didn’t abuse citizens in the cities covered by news crews for the world to see. The police who take a vow to protect and serve human life first and foremost, even when there was a curfew violated in Minneapolis, surrendered the streets to the citizens to express their frustration. Those who feel that the police can just kill or rough up or use any means necessary to prevent the right to free expression, I hope this is a lesson for them, especially for Skerritt and Carbon.

Stop pretending, because it’s happening right here in DA.
The Dominican MECENARIES did the exact thing to that young man in Portsmouth, probably they didn’t use their knee, but the outcome was the same.
So all of you, leave what happens in America, stay in America and deal with your own.
