PM’s statement to Dominica on special allowances during shutdown

PM Skerrit, File Photo

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has announced that in reference to the curfew order issued last night special allowances have been made this morning to accommodate sections of the public that apply only for today.

The announcement was made live via DBS earlier this morning.

Shops, supermarkets and grocery stores have been allowed to open to accommodate local shoppers only. The shops will be open from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

The PM made it clear that you only will be allowed to shop where you reside. For example, people from Mahaut will be allowed to shop only in Mahaut and not in the neighouring village of Massacre.

This will be enforced by Police check points across the country. Gas stations in the following locations: High Street, Canefield, Portsmouth and Marigot will also be opened until 1pm.

Skerrit, in times of CRISIS leadership is required. Something YOU lack. The only thing you are good at is selling passports and make the majority of the proceeds magically disappear.

Mr. Skerrit should take ownerSHIP for what is now happening in Dominica. When the coronavirus cases were low he wanted people to worSHIP him for it. Now his leaderSHIP is fount wanting. Many disapprove of his dictatorSHIP. His dim-witted disciples should all abandon SHIP. He has SHIPwrecked the country.

The same thing needs to be done in US States like Florida and Texas where the virus is going wild and hospitals are full with COVID patients and the whole country is in dire straights with the new variant. It is all about politics and the next election.

You need to shut the back door old frat, you are always rejoicing at the demise of people. You just a sorry as… human being. How pathetic are those who cannot express empathy at a time like this, the virus doesn’t know political affiliations.

Probably the worst leader in the Caribbean whose legacy will be that he sold sackloads of passports and robbed the country blind. Utterly useless.

Did he sell one to you? Well, too late shall be your cry. You are like the fox. He couldn’t pick those grapes and, he said they were sour, as sour as Reggie is.

Every benefit to the people of Dominica from the government is based on their political persuasions. So, I’d like to know how many laborites tested positive for Covid-19 as of now.

CDC director Rochelle Walensky, who announced to the world that people fully vaccinated for COVID-19 were spreading the “delta variant” and that it was now time to mask up again, just weeks after they announced that people fully vaccinated for COVID-19 no longer needed to wear masks, because: THE SCIENCE IS SHIFTING.

We are heading closer to the end times. Be it known people and listen to what your spineless pastors or priests won’t tell you. “God rules in the affairs of man.” And He is able to raise up leaders that are heartless to deal with a people who themselves are heartless. Do we Dominicans acknowledge God in our lives to deserve better from Him? You wish for a better leader (we all do). But would we be thankful to God? Every type of crime and immorality is on the rise in Dominica and the Caribbean on a whole. Yet, we think we deserve better conditions in life and in our country. My brothers and sisters, it doesn’t work that way. Right now we are only fighting against one another. Is this the solution? Except we acknowledge the Almighty God all of our efforts and “brilliance” will amount to nothing. I thank God for Dominica and I wish the best for its people.

This man needs to go period!
You see, this government does not think before they open their mouths. Hiding behind legislation to cover your incompetence is a failure in leadership. That goal post keeps moving all the time after the game has already started. No wonder why we are so confused on this so called SRO. Enough of the Cuba and Venezuela style governance in this place….get the drums, water, soak-shak, timbrel and what ever you have ready. Farmers get you spade, fork, hoe and tools ready for display during the protest. As soon as lockdown over is time to day-bou-yea. The time to ask for the entire DLP resignation from government is at hand.

You stutter like a headless chicken now.
Leadership is everything. You are the quintessential bad leader and bad example. Why do you mask up now, when you were jeering and taunting at the opposition parliamentarians in the house for wearing their masks????
In any other country don’t you think that both you and your other minister would have to resign for dereliction of duty???
You are such an embarrassment to leadership!!!!

%, you are the one that should consider yourself as the embarrassment to society. Why don’t you try to FIX MORE than YOU BREAK? Stop being a nuisance! Stop your arrogance and ignorance. Stop being Lennox’s repeating parrot. Get a life of your own.
Yes, in any other country you would have been in jail already.
Thank God democracy prevails in our country.
      Thank God for SKERRIT.

Kim Jong Un is waiting on % in North Korea, as hungry as a leopard. He knows very well that action speaks louder than words. All he does is talk, talk and cannot do anything up to this day.

The thing with this PM and his Cabal is that they really believe he (Skerrit) is the second coming of Castro / Chavez combined and that’s the way it’s going to be. He will never lost an election because it is ALLEGED they have mastered the art of stealing an election. So, they only way things will change is WE the people have to take charge of Dca’s future with actions, not complaining here on DNO and calling radio stations. Who will take the lead so others can follow?

All the so called political leaders (APP, Freedom, Pappy, Samantha) except Lennox and Moon-Serwouyea (?) will never take to the streets with their followers. Oh no their high hills will break and lipstick will get smudged. All they do is give nice and fancy speeches to remain relevant. It reminds me of the saying; Everybody want to go to heaven but NO ONE wants to die.” Imagine that!

    • August 9, 2021

Nothing you utter out of your mouth will make any difference. Skerrit will still be Skerrit and a good one too. He will still be our Supreme Leader no matter what. You are obsessed with the man and it makes no difference. And by the way whilst you are at it, how much more reading do I need when I have done so much reading that has earned me a BBA, MBA, CPA. Let me hear your credentials once for all. Ah bet you are nowhere close to my credentials. Skerrit needs me not you, your bum bum fly.

    • August 9, 2021

And you are the embodiment of all evil. You should be embarrassed with yourself, your hypocrite. I empathize with all covid Dominicans, I have been from the onset ……. bla bla black sheep, how many bags of wool do you have? Go empathize and sympathize with yourself. Let me hear your educational credentials. You fete too much that is why you have none.
